Description

New in 2023. 10 minutes from Jindabyne and 35 minutes to Thredbo & Perisher, WeeWilly offers the perfect basecamp. The views towards Jindabyne , the Main range and Mt Perisher are stunning. You will feel a thousand miles away, but your not. Electricity, WiFI, great phone service, smart TV, reverse cycle heating/aircon, fire pit, sun soaked balcony, nature & hot shower make this the perfect retreat after a day in the mountains, summer and winter. Private, but not far from civilisation. The space Self check in and out. WeeWilly has a discrete location over a rise from our family home set on 20 acres just 12 kilometres to the south of Jindabyne. The tiny home itself measures 2.4m wide by 4.8 metres long with generous decking to the north and east. The comfy queen bed, lounge and kitchenette are open plan. A sliding door accesses your private ensuite with shower, basin and toilet. Summer or winter, set the reverse cycle split system to your preferred comfortable temperature. Outside on the covered Eastern deck is an outdoor kitchen with a Weber Baby Q complete with flat grill plate, griddle and a pizza stone, set amongst the outdoor furniture. There is also a gas hotplate with pots and pans. A stone throw from the deck you will find your own private fire pit and furniture to relax and gaze at the stars. Wallaby’s and Kangaroos keep the lawn tidy. Fresh Nespresso in the morning watching a spectacular sunrise starts your day. Your own private drying room has everything ready to go for another day up the hill. A perfect base for skiing, biking, hiking, fishing and exploring the Snowys. Guest access Self check in and check out. We will send you some instructions. Arrive whenever you like after check in is available. The place is all yours and you will likely never see anyone unless you want to take a long stroll around the property or want to see us. We leave you alone. Your not sharing anything with anyone other than Kangaroos, Wallabies, Rosellas, Cockatoos and the occasional Wombat, Blue tongue lizard or Echidna. Your retreat is accessed off our shared 300 meter maintained gravel driveway. It has it’s own access trail of about 70 metres to the home where you can park a few steps to WeeWilly with a drive through turning circle. Convenient if your towing the boat or trailer. There is a map inside outlining our property boundaries and we do ask you respect these as there are three 20 acre properties off the drive which are unfenced for the most part. This adds to the wide open countryside. Other things to note * One queen bed- two persons is the limit. * Cooking in microwave indoors. * Or outdoor undercover kitchen with Weber Baby Q BBQ with flat plate, griddle pizza stone. * A gas hotplate, pots and pans are also available in the outdoor kitchen. * No grill, hotplate or oven inside. * Please open and close the door carefully in strong winds. * Please follow the directions posted in the drying room. * We are on top of a hill - gives the great views, however it can be quite windy on occasion in Jindabyne. * The water is fine to drink. It is a combination of rainwater and bore water. * Please don’t leave taps or toilets running -we will runout. * No chemicals, wipes, sanitary products, waste down the toilet. * Please turn off heaters, aircon, lights when your out exploring. * Never place anything directly on the heaters. * No fires outside the fire pit. Give it a miss in strong winds. Extinguish after use. * No fires on total fire ban days. * No random 4wd’ing around the property. Driveways only please. * Respect our neighbours privacy please. Feel free to graze our 20 acres. Check the map. * No shooting, smoking, vaping. * Give way to other vehicles on the driveway. Downhill - right of way. * Very rarely (once a year) we have big snowfalls. Consider getting your car out to the driveway safely. * Chains maybe required on 2WD vehicles maybe twice a year. * Rare - Extremely cold nights may freeze plumbing (minus 9 or 10). Open a tap every now and then will keep water moving such nights. * If cattle are on the property - please leave them be. * if you can give us a rough idea of arrival times, if you know, that's great. A quick message on departure is also appreciated. Such communication can be helpful to depressurise changeovers at times. Registration Details Exempt
