Views (weather permitting) of Denali/Mt. McKinley and the Alaska range. 1/2 hours South of Denali National Park. Close to Talkeetna. 2+ hours North of Anchorage. Hot homemade breakfast included: best homemade pancakes and Reindeer sausage! We are open year round and the rooms are in a separate building from our private cabin. Our property is on Scotty Lake, and only 2 miles off of the Parks Highway. Our hot, homemade breakfast is served in our cabin/ home! There is a common room on the 1st floor where guests may gather. Brochures on activities, a pool table, microwave, fridge, bar with stools (bring your own drinks), and a half bathroom. A picnic table is just outside of the common room. Down by the lake, there is another picnic table, some chairs and a fire pit. A small cabin contains fishing gear that may be checked out. We live on the property, and greet our guests and chat. We serve breakfast in our cabin dining room. Also, we are available by phone and email. We welcome questions, and can help you with ideas and suggestions for your entire Alaska vacation! We are surrounded by trees, a lake and beautiful mountains! We are over 90 miles North of the nearest city-Wasilla; and approximately 4 hours South of Fairbanks.
