THE SPOT ON COX BAY - 3 minute walk to the beach

I’ve loved Tofino since I first stayed in a tiny cabin at the end of Cox Bay with my Mom, Dad, Sisters, Aunts, Uncle and Grandparents. I was left enchanted by the rainforest and the tide pools just steps from the cabin door. I purchased the lot in 2017 and designed and built the house myself with the help of my close friend Mike. The design of the house is meant to bring the beauty of the rainforest inside while the sprawling living space is for families to spend time and make memories together. The space The Spot is a Luxury Vacation Rental designed to sleep up to 6 guests in absolute comfort. Some points of interest in my home include: - Outdoor hot water shower (the perfect after-surf ritual, please note shower my be out of service during sub-zero weather conditions ) - 6 person hot tub ( hot tub has chemical maintenance done 3x a week. Tub access for maintenance personnel is mandatory ) - Outdoor fire pit with seating for 6 - Surfboard racks -Outdoor changing area with wet suit storage and rinse station - Outdoor kitchen (for those delicious, but smelly, seafood dishes) - Freestanding Large soaker tub (fits 2 quite nicely) - 2 person walk-in shower in both bathrooms - Rainfall shower heads - Custom timber dining table (accommodates 8) - State of the art kitchen appliances - 12 foot kitchen island (perfect for entertaining while prepping meals) - Bedroom #1 42” smart tv -72" smartTV (includes cable + sports channels) - Bedroom #3 (downstairs studio) has floor to ceiling windows and private patio - 3 minute walk to Cox Bay on private path - Bedroom #4 single bed , Separate office with desk - Well stocked library with reading nook - Folding beach chairs with easy carry shoulder straps per request ( x6 ) - Portable propane firepit per request ( wood fires are prohibited on the beach. Propane avaible but not included ) Guest access You will have the complete suite to yourselves, there are no shared space areas. We have permanent care takers that live in a separate legal suite, with a separate private entrance located behind the house. Please read the House description fully before making any reservation requests, as this will ensure that you are fully informed of all considerations that should be made before booking is complete. **When making your request please include the nature of your trip, the age range of your guests ( infants, toddlers, children etc ) and verification that you agree to comply with all house rules** Other things to note Because this is a brand new home we highly recommend going through the house manual to familiarize yourself with the products of the home. Our parking lot has video surveillance ( Nest cam ), facing away from the front door towards the driveway as well as under carport facing parking stalls.
