Description
Enjoy a little piece of paradise. If you are looking for undisturbed privacy, unsurpassed views of the ocean, quiet living on the edge of a jungle, along with peace & serenity, then this is for you. The space Only a short boat trip from Puerto Vallarta transports you to the village of Yelapa. Overlooking the Bay of Banderas, Jalisco, Mexico, this open design home is nestled in palms, very private and quiet at the edge of the jungle. The kitchen, dining and living room are open design with view of the ocean. A partial wall separates the bedroom with a hanging double bed and closet ready for you. The bathroom is a separate building, with hot shower, sink and toilet. Create and live in your own quiet space, sit on the deck and watch parrots fly by, or just enjoy living in nature. When you want interaction and more, wander into the village of Yelapa, sample all the restaurants, meet the people, then leave them behind as you return to your quiet retreat. Walk down the hill and swim at Isabel's playa. Take a longer walk thru town to the main beach, people watch and sip a margarita. Swimming, snorkeling, whale watching, paragliding, hiking, fishing are all activities to enjoy. We only rent to quiet, un-needy souls. Don't inquire for less than 5 nights. You need to be in fairly good physical condition to stay here. There are no cars or roads in Yelapa, and walking is required. There are 250 stairs up to the house. A lovely path takes you along the shore and into the village (a 5 minute walk), where you can buy all your food and supplies, or eat out at many different restaurants. This is a very safe community that knows how to treat the visitors with care - water is purified, restaurants are clean, and people are welcoming. Many are able to speak English, but of course appreciate your efforts to speak Spanish. It is a great place to unwind, and feel the sand between your toes! Unlike the village, it is very quiet and peaceful on the Point, and especially since we live nearby, the quiet is especially valued. Note: The house is unavailable during the summer season.
