A lovely cape cod stone home built in 1946 has a nine-foot ceiling with amazing craftsman-style oak trim throughout the main floor. The Stone House also has a large front and back yard. The Stone House is right off of Route 11, with independent dwellings to the left and right of the house. Guests can access a sidewalk across from The Stone House that will take them to Dollar General, Food Lion, or Downtown Mount Jackson, just a 1.5-mile walk. The Stone House is located near: -Skyline Drive. The Skyline Drive allows you to travel to the top of The Blue Ridge Mountains. Here, you can find many areas to pull off to enjoy the outstanding views, hiking trails, campgrounds, lodging, and a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) museum dedicated to educating its visitors about the CCC and how it helped create The Skyline Drive. -Guests can also explore the many caverns, and zoo's all less than 15 minutes drive. -Shenandoah Caverns -Endless Caverns -Luray Caverns.
