Other things to note Bundles of firewood available for $12 each. A Note on Mosquitoes & Blackflies: As with most Northern Ontario wilderness experiences, mosquitoes and blackflies are most active from mid-May through late June. We recommend bringing bug spray, wearing long sleeves in the evenings, and being prepared during this time. Things usually ease up significantly by early July.
