There are 3 bedrooms available to reserve , and a beautiful new kitchen . View of 30+ acres of planted cornfields, woods and pastures, with farming on all 4 sides of the house. Please note, we’re unable to accommodate any pets in order to maintain a 5 cleaning rating for all our guests to enjoy The space The Marston house was built in 1920 and lived in by one family, The Marstons . We kept as much of the original character of the Marston's home which was a chicken farm from which they sold eggs to the community. It is a spacious 1700 square foot, 2 story country house , with a fenced in backyard . There are 25 acres outside the fence for growing crops. The neighbors also farm their fields surrounding the property which gives you beautiful, expansive and peaceful views . People who love to interact with nature and the outdoors will enjoy this property . There is plenty of parking for your boat trailer and trucks in the circular drive and mowed area beside the garage . Guest access You’ll have use of the kitchen , living room, morning room, center hall, and dining room and downstairs primary bedroom and bath . There are two more bedrooms and a full bath upstairs for large reservations . The rate for additional guests , per night is specified in the reservation booking process. You also can enjoy approximately an acre of fenced area in the back yard including the garden , lawn , fire pit and grilling area. When the corn/soybean fields aren’t mature you can take a walk and explore directly behind the house to the far tree line. Additionally you’ll have use of a large parking area and the lawn in the circular drive in front of the house. Other things to note The Capital Trail is minutes away ! Exercise enthusiasts bring your running shoes, roller skates and bikes ! Boaters , fishermen, and water skiers will love the public boating ramps and marinas in Charles City to access the Chicahominy and James Rivers. History buffs have an abundance of material to see in the nearby Historical Triangle as well as historic estates and gardens within Charles City including all of the James River Plantations along route 5.
