Enjoy the modern comfort of this stylish, upscale suite. An open floor plan, queen sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom and living room, breakfast nook, kitchenette and spacious deck with marvelous lake views. The Lodge offers 14 rooms and suites, with a general check in lobby, a guest lounge and a bar- restaurant open to the public, which only opens for dinner starting at 5pm. All rooms and suites have ensuite bathrooms, kitchenettes and except for room 8, have outside patios. Besides of course your room or suite, guests have access to the lounge area, the restaurant and bar after it opens at 5pm, the lobby area with vending machine and ice-maker and the hotel's grounds. Please do not enter doors that have signs "employees only". The hosts live in an apartment in the building and are available to offer help or provide information during the guests's stay. Set in a quiet wooded area, a six minute walk away from town, directly on the beach of Lake Michigan. The area is dotted with colorful historical homes. The roads are gravel or sand until the main road is reached, about 300 yards away. Public Tennis Courts are a two minute walk away, as well as an interesting second hand store. Getting around on Beaver Island is inspired by nature. Walking, bicycling and driving are the three main forms of transportation. You can bring your car or bicycles (scooters, motorcycles) on the ferry, or rent them here on island. Rule of thumb is that if you stay 4 or more nights, it is more cost effective to bring your own. The Lodge has a large, free parking area. Smoking is not allowed in the building, but we have created an outdoor space with seating for those who smoke. Please use that area.
