Modern comforts in a stylish, upscale suite. An open floor plan, king bedroom with ensuite bathroom, living room, breakfast nook, kitchenette with coffee and coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, WIFI and deck with marvelous lake views. Two guests maximum. The bathroom offers shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers and a hair dryer. Located on the 3rd floor this corner suite offers breath taking sunsets and dark sky stargazing. Airbnb guests 2 free bicycles for one day, to tour the island. The space The Lodge offers 14 rooms and suites, with a general check in lobby, a guest lounge and a bar- restaurant open to the public, which only opens for dinner starting at 5pm. All rooms and suites have ensuite bathrooms, kitchenettes and except for room 8, have outside patios. The Lodge sits atop a bluff overlooking our beach and Lake Michigan. We offer 13 rooms and suites on the Airbnb platform. On premises is a fine dining restaurant with full bar and a very comfortable guest lounge. The private beach is great for tanning, swimming, kayaking, taking beach walks and collecting beautiful rocks. There is ample parking. We're located less than 0.5 miles from town and the ferry dock. Each room has a room book with information about wifi, house rules, important phone numbers, restaurants, island history and landmarks etc. Guest access Besides of course your room or suite, guests have access to the lounge area, the restaurant and bar after it opens at 5pm, the lobby area with vending machine and ice-maker and the hotel's grounds. Please do not enter doors that have signs "employees only". Lake access, beach and lounge are always accessible. The restaurant and bar open daily Tue-Sun at 5pm. There is a guest lounge with comfortable seatings on the ground floor. We recommend reservations for dining with us. For smokers we created a seating area outside, away from the building. Other things to note Smoking is not allowed in the building, but we have created an outdoor space with seating for those who smoke. Please use that area. We offer a courtesy van pick up from the ferry dock or airports on arrival as well as return. Just let us know your arrival time. If you bring bicycles or a car on the ferry, we're about less than 0.5 mi from the ferry dock. Take a left outside the gate of the ferry dock; take a right on Forest Ave. (between the hardware store and the Printshop Museum). Cross over King's Highway onto Donegal Bay Road and take a right on Beaver Lodge Drive to Lake Michigan. We have bike racks and a large parking lot
