Villa Dafni is a lovely, detached villa sleeping up to 8 guests and offering the newest and most amazing private swimming pool of Corfu. Welcoming, airy, cheerful, and located just outside the famous resort of Roda (where a wide array of shops, bars, restaurants, beaches can be found) this is the perfect property for families or friends looking for privacy, relaxation, amazing one of a kind outdoor areas. The space The great locations just outside Roda allows the guests who do not wish to drive to have several choices within walking distance therefore. car is not essential. Inside, Villa Dafni is set over one floor. It is spacious, airy, beautifully decorated and spotlessy clean by the attentive owner. The villa offers 4 comfortable bedrooms for 8 guests in total, 2 bathrooms with shower, functional and well equipped kitchenette, seating area with tv (currently being re-decorated, photos not yet available). The indoor décor is welcoming and airy, with wide use of soft pastel colors, and the bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 with twin beds) are air-conditioned (included in the rental rate). The lovely interiors mixed with the true huge private outdoor areas and unique private pool will turn this property into the perfect retreat for families or friends. Outside, Villa Dafni offers what can be genuinely described as one of the most spectacular private swimming pools of Corfu. Truly huge (it measures the impressive size of around 170sqm, with a depth up to 1.6m), with a “lagoon style” design, beautifully lit at night, and set within extensive gardens with lawn. Adults and children will not believe to their eyes when they will see such a magnificent pool all for themselves. The private pool has an irregular ‘lagoon style’ shape of more than 20m x 10m, depth goes from 0m to 1.6m, and comfortable sunbeds as well as parasols will be provided . Spending long hours in this unparalleled heaven will leave both adults and children truly speechless and amazed. An outdoor, shaded dining area with brick-built barbecue and table for 8 is available for the guests to dine together enjoying the glorious Corfiot weather. Although a car is not essential, private parking is available within the premises. NOTES: for the convenience of our guests, the price quoted includes everything. Wi-fi internet, cleanings, linen/towels, air-conditioning, are included in the rental rates. A security deposit in cash of euros 300 for damages is required on arrival and refunded at the end of the stay. Other things to note On the 15th of December 2023, the Greek Government introduced a new tax on holiday rentals with the aim to fight the climate emergency. The new “climate resilience tax” bacame effective in 2024 and will be consequently increased from 1st of January 2025 to the foreseen amount of 2 euros per property per night for studios and apartments and 15 euros per property per night for villas and large holiday homes (details are still under review, and official figure for each specific property will be added to the pre arrival info for all our guests). Therefore, for example, a stay of 7 nights in a villa during 2025 summer (non depending on the number of guests staying) will have a total climate resilience tax of euros 105. For all the existing and future reservations, the amount will be payable locally on arrival. Despite being this a sudden decision, which caused a considerable surprise in ourselves, we are therefore obliged to comply with the new regulation informing all our present and future guests of this extra charge.
