Bear Corner is a quiet double en-suite room
Description
Bear corner is in the perfect position for exploring Bournemouth, Poole and the renowned Sandbanks. Just a little further afield you have the New Forest and stunning Jurassic Coast. The quaint town of Wimborne is also only 4 miles away & with Bournemouth Uni also just 4 miles away it's a perfect place for an overnight stay whilst visiting students. Set in a very quiet cul-de-sac with parking & a local pub that serves fabulous food, large room with en-suite, fridge & some cooking facilities The space Bear Corner is a large comfortable room in our bungalow that we have been renovating. The room is accessed directly on entering the property from the hallway which is only used by us if we are entering or leaving the building, so as many guests have mentioned it is fairly private. There is a small patio for your use directly in front of the property and your room. There is a small microwave & toaster in the room plus a fridge with small freezer section for ice-cubes etc. There is also a kettle with tea, coffee ☕ and fresh milk provided. Plates cutlery and wine glasses. The ensuite bathroom has a waterfall shower with towels and toiletries. There is parking for you on the gravel area in the front garden. As we are at the end of a cul-de-sac it is very quiet with minimal traffic. But we are near to Bournemouth airport so there can be low flying aircraft noise in the day only. This also makes it the perfect place to stopover before a flight from the airport. Bear Corner really is set in the perfect place for exploring nearby Bournemouth Poole & Sandbanks where you can just look in awe at the million pound houses or take part in the multitude of water sports available or simply enjoy the beautiful blue flag beach. If you are visiting in December Bournemouth lights are well worth a visit. The gardens are alight with all sorts of Xmas themed displays, and alpine style cafe/ bar hidden in the trees and a German style market offering numerous hot food takeaways in the square. The holiday resorts of Weymouth & Swanage are both within easy travelling distance as is the stunning Jurassic Coast including our favourite Studland Bay. If you jump on the car ferry at Sandbanks you will be on your way to Corfe Castle & the quaint villages in the area. This is a great area for walkers. The huge New Forest is not far away either, here you will find the forest ponies wandering freely with lots of picnic areas and a visit to the village of Burley with its famous witches shop a must. Just a few of the visitor attractions in the area are Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Beaulie Motor Museum, Upton Country Park, Arne where you will see deer wandering freely & Poole Quay where there are daily boat trips around the harbour or over to Brownsea Island. With so much to do we hope you will be wanting to return to explore further. Guest access We have a little patio area in the front of the bungalow outside your room that is for your use only. It is a nice sunny area (in summer) that gets sun for a good portion of the day During your stay I am always available on my phone or by email orText for any questions. When you are staying at Bear corner you are welcomed to put your head through the adjoining door or side gate to the garden if you need anything, just say hellooo and someone will answer. if not just shout louder 😂. But I'm happy to leave you alone to come and go as you wish through the front door.
