Beautiful private cottage on a bay

31 days and +. This log cabin is nestled on the edge of a natural bay formed in a corner of the Petite Nation River. From the land and the house, you see nothing but the forest and the river. Huge white pines adorn a wild landscape. You can swim from the private beach or dock, fish, meditate in the forest, telecommute or have an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the river. Board games, books, vinyls, and DVDs are available. The space The log cabin, very bright, is on the edge of a large deep bay and as large as several Olympic swimming pools. It is divided into 3 levels. On the ground floor are the kitchen, dining room, large terrace (south, 12 x 24 ft or 27 m2), bar and living room (view towards the sunset over the river), bathroom and master bedroom (view towards the sunset over the river). Upstairs is an independent space consisting of a bedroom, workspace and bathroom. On the garden level there are two bedrooms (view towards the sunset over the river), one of which has a large standing desk that can serve as a second teleworking space. On the same floor there is a laundry room and a garage with an elliptical bike. The area of the house is 2100 sq ft (195 m2). The organization of the space makes it possible to occupy several living spaces or to gather all together. The chalet is located on a 2-acre/8000 m2 lot (forest of mature trees and landscaped garden) including 300 ft/91 meters of shore. Guest access You will have access to the entire house. Other things to note This chalet can be rented monthly. The last few meters of the access road are steep. An all-wheel drive car is required in winter.
