In the charming village of Semoussac, in an old renovated farmhouse, we offer 2 cottages for rent. Let yourself be tempted by a relaxing stay for the whole family, with sunny terraces, swings, outdoor games and a salt-water swimming pool. These furnished and comfortable lodgings are located 17 minutes from Jonzac (its train station, its Antilles, its thermal baths), 7 minutes from exit 37 of the A10 and Mirambeau (all shops) and 12 minutes from the natural park of Vitrezay . The space Quiet cottage with wifi (fiber), washing machine, television and everything you need to cook. A 5-burner gas stove allows you to cook comfortably for the whole family. Charming and bright, it is fully equipped and consists of a living room opening onto a kitchen and dining room. The entrance is via the private terrace (dining table, parasols) via 2 large French windows. On the ground floor: a double bedroom and the shower room (with toilet and washing machine) A few books and games are at your disposal. Upstairs (be careful, the ceiling is quite low), a corridor with wardrobe opens onto the bedrooms: - 1 bedroom with double bed (140) with wardrobe and small window onto the garden and the terrace (and the Gironde estuary in the distance), - 1 bedroom with 1 single bed (90) and a comfortable baby bed, with bars (wood) - in a row, 1 other bedroom with 2 single beds (90). Equipment suitable for young children available upon prior request and at no extra cost. The private terrace is ideal for enjoying breakfasts outdoors! Guest access Exterior: Garden furniture on a private terrace and an outdoor barbecue on a small wooded plot, with access to the municipal bowling alley. The entrance is shared with the owners of the house (and a dog named Suki). Possibility to park for free and easily outside. Bonus: A gate opens directly onto the municipal bowling alley and the children's park. The swimming pool is 50m2, it is secured by a gate and a telescopic shelter and it is shared (2 gîtes and the owners). It is guaranteed accessible in mid and high season, from June to September. For the low season it depends on the weather and the temperature supported because the swimming pool is covered but we do not heat it. Other things to note Opening of the season from June. We have recently resumed this activity and some work is planned to refresh the cottage (mostly paint...), which is why our rates are reduced this year. We are sensitive to the protection of the environment and our garden, with its trees and hedges, is home to many occupants (birds, pollinating insects, etc.). Also note that we are located in the countryside, in an area where fauna and flowers proliferate: spiders, flies and others also like to find refuge in the accommodations. We favor mosquito nets (and do not use insecticides). In this small village, we are not connected to mains drainage and we will give you the necessary information for the proper functioning of the septic tank. Bonus: we recommend an excellent producer of Pineau and Cognac in the neighborhood, ideal for tasting and gifting! ... and all the other good addresses that we collect for you!
