Enjoy the sunrise, sunsets and all the stars in your own space on a beautiful large property, overlooking the water with your own private campfire.Experience all the local fare including breweries, a winery, farmers market, shopping and dining in the nearby town of Alexandria. The space Very large private lot with trimmed lawn, bedrooms are cozy with 2 single beds each, 1 bedroom with singles can be put together with a mattress topper to make a king size bed. Enjoy the outdoor shower in the morning or shower under the stars at night. The cottage is on a hill overlooking the lake where you can walk to the dock/shore in about 70 metres. Launch your kayak or canoe and enjoy the private lake with little to no boat traffic. You'll see Blue Herons, geese, ducks, crows, blue jays, beavers and muskrats around the lake and pike and bass in it! Other things to note The cottage is not air conditioned but has a ceiling fan in the main area and a portable fan and windows in all rooms. No Wi-Fi. The lake is weedy so we do not promote it for swimming.
