Clean and affordable accommodation for hikers, cyclists and motorcyclists in Niederehe. Located directly on the Eifelsteig, not far from the Nürburgring, in a very rural, quiet village with 450 inhabitants. Surrounded by meadows, fields and forests in the heart of the beautiful Volcanic Eifel. The space The room is very simple and is located in the basement of the house, but has a window and daylight. In the room there are two comfortable beds, each 1.20 m x 2 m in size. There is also underfloor heating, which can be controlled via a thermostat in the room. A small bathroom is directly opposite (unfortunately without an outlet). Here you will find a toilet and a small sink. The bathroom does not have its own shower. By arrangement, showering is possible in our bathroom, on the upper floor (2 floors higher). Guest access You have access to our well-equipped, large kitchen where you can prepare your meals if you want to cater for yourself. There is the possibility to store your food and drinks in a refrigerator. We are happy to share our dining area with you, where at least six people can be seated at the large table. We have a large garden with a terrace, which is also partially covered. Here you will also find garden furniture and a charcoal grill. Smoking is allowed on the terrace. If you are arriving by bike or motorcycle, there is the possibility to lock them in the garage or a shed. Other things to note The nearest charging station for electric cars is 450 meters from our house. Arrival by public transport: A lot has happened here recently and thanks to new bus lines and the RufBus (on-call bus) system (the RufBus must be ordered by phone at least one hour before departure), you can get here mostly every half hour, in almost all directions, away or also to us. The bus stop that would be relevant for you is Niederehe Kirche. From there it is then a 5-minute walk to us, if you walk very comfortably. On the VRT website you can view the timetable information. If necessary, I will gladly send you the link. In the village, there are the following amenities: Pizza delivery service "Die Tomate" (open Thursday to Sunday, takeaway only). Lenarz beverage store (open from Monday to Saturday). Geflügelhof Rätz with a small farm shop. In the neighboring village of Kerpen there is a bakery and in the neighboring village of Loogh there is the Gröner farm with a dairy and farm shop (open Monday to Saturday), where in addition to cheese, meat and other regional products are sold. Adjacent to the farm there is also a restaurant that offers breakfast on Saturdays and lunch from Monday to Saturday.
