Pine Cottage offers exclusive access to original 1913 carriage roads, a stunning stone arch bridge, private trails through old-growth forest, and a secluded spring-fed pond. Hike, swim, stargaze, or simply absorb the profound peace of having the entire estate all to yourself. Perfect for writers, artists, photographers, and anyone craving a true escape and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The space Pine Cottage is a secluded studio cabin with an upstairs sleeping loft with king size bed. Additional features include a full size pull out sofa sleeper, comfy day bed, romantic wood stove (also with supplemental electric heat), kitschy retrofitted 1950's kitchen and full bath with shower & old fashioned relaxing porcelain soaking tub. Guests have exclusive use of the entire 2,000 acre estate featuring an abandoned 1913 mansion, 1920's thoroughbred race horse stables, original Olmsted stone arch bridge, 3 miles of private estate roads, dozens of hiking trails and other assorted historic outbuildings. There's a secluded spring fed pond to enjoy refreshing dips. We even supply inner tube floaties! Guest access Guests can drive right up to Pine Cottage and have exclusive access to the entire 2,000-acre estate during their stay, including: - Miles of private hiking and mountain biking trails - Original 1913 Olmsted-designed carriage roads - Historic 1912 stone arch bridge - Spring-fed swimming pond - Historic structures from the 1800s thru the 1920s - All fields, forests, and meadows - Complete privacy—no other guests on property Pine Cottage includes: full kitchen, bathroom, comfortable sleeping arrangements, private deck, woodstove, outdoor grill, fire pit and all basic amenities. Please note: The main mansion and outbuildings are not accessible to guests, but the landscape and grounds are entirely yours to explore. Other things to note Please be aware that some map apps show different towns where Pine Cottage is located in. Some apps may show the town of Delancey while another may say Delhi or Andes. All will get you there, even though we're actually in the beautiful Town of Bovina! - Gravel roads on property—but suitable for all vehicles - No cell service in some areas (High speed WiFi available at the cottage) - Wildlife present—including deer, turkey, porcupines, occasional bear - Property is actively managed for conservation - Please respect all posted boundaries - Swimming pond is natural—no lifeguard, swim at own risk
