The Trapper Cabin is one of our guests’ favorite Alaskan vacation cabins. The cabin features a full-size log bed, perfect for a couple or individual. The Trapper Cabin’s front porch overhangs Clear Creek, a salmon spawning stream bordering the Alaska Creekside Cabins property, offering guests one of the best views on the property. The cabin’s private fire pit provides guests the opportunity to spend quality time outdoors or simply relax and enjoy the immense natural beauty around the cabin. Six acres of sprawling forest and creeks with trails along the creeks, berries that can be picked, great photo opportunities, the occasional moose, river otters, salmon, eagles, owls, bears and coyotes come through the property and creeks. This is the perfect getaway space, with a firepit and grill to cook over the open fire while listening to the creek roll by. Tranquility and relaxation awaits you after a long day of outdooring in Seward, Alaska. Guests have access to all six acres of sprawling forest and creeks with trails along the creeks, berries that can be picked and great photo opportunities. We ask that your respect other guest's temporary living space as there are more than one guest(s) staying in different cabins throughout the vast property. As a traveler myself I know how important it is to have my own space but still appreciate having a host that interacts and helps when wanted or needed. I'm here for you to answer questions, tell stories and start the occasional fire for you. The neighborhood in which the property sits is quiet, peaceful and wooded. Close enough to the start of Seward town center for convenient shopping and eating and yet far enough to enjoy the serenity of the woods and creeks on the property. Our property is 1 mile from the start of town center, Taxi service is available from many different companies. This cabin does NOT have a bathroom. It utilizes our shared Bathhouse. Separate male and female sides with partitions and locks, like a public bathroom at a restaurant or mall. On the backside of the bathhouse are two showers, again separated by gender, private entrances to each with locks on the doors.
