The Cabin

Peaceful cabin on secluded smallholding, 10 mins from beach and the Preselis. Ideally located for exploring Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion. Bathroom has shower, hand basin and compost toilet. No wifi. Ideal if you want to get away from town life to enjoy a natural setting. Wake up to bird song and the greenery of mature trees, and a site where biodiversity is actively encouraged through tree planting, new hedge creation and allowing nature to thrive. The space The Cabin is a revamped static caravan, with much of the old built-in furniture and carpets removed, and replaced with free-standing furniture. The floors have been painted throughout with eco-paint, and a woodburner installed for heating and added cosiness. The front door opens onto a spacious open-plan kitchen diner and sitting room/lounge, with a solid wood dining table and four solid wood wheelback chairs, large sofa, two easy chairs and coffee tables, and woodburner. The kitchen area has a fridge with a small freezer section, a gas oven and hob with four rings, sink with hot and cold running water and washing up bowl. Plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs, saucepans and cooking implements are supplied. A short corridor leads to the bathroom (shower, hand basin, compost toilet) and two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and two fitted wardrobes plus a walk in luggage cupboard. The smaller bedroom has two small single beds and a wardrobe. Bed linen and towels supplied. Guest access Guests have access to all areas of the cabin. Other things to note This is a rural location and mobile phone coverage is variable, depending on mobile company. There is no Wifi in the cabin. Access is via a 300 metre farm track off the country lane. Please note that the farm track is unpaved and, while we do our best to maintain it, it suffers from potholes and puddles, especially after heavy rain. Although it's a bit bumpy in places, it's fine for an ordinary car if you drive slowly, but it is not ideal for cars with very low suspension. Membership of The Greener Camping Club is included in the cleaning fee. We will need your email address on booking to process your membership.
