ABOUT THE AREA Potrero Beach/Surfside is a charming, small beach town with a friendly mix of local “Ticos” and ex-pats from Europe, Canada, and the US. The town offers a good variety of restaurants and bars with frequent live music. It has two mid-sized food markets that also sell beer, wine, and liquor. The house is a half mile walk/bike/drive to town and Potrero beach. Dozens of other beautiful, local beaches are a short drive away.
