Sit down, relax, make a fire and take in the beauty of Howe Sound. This private island is located 4 km from downtown Squamish. It used to be water flowing in between the island and the main land but its now filled in so you can drive right in and park on the property. It's very rare that we get snow in the winter in Squamish so you can bike and hike all year around. Back country skiing is available in the Garibaldi Provincial Park. It takes about 30 min to drive to the snow line. Elfin Lakes Shelter is a popular spot and it's open all year around. Or if you stay on the Hwy Whistler/Blackomb is only 40 min away. (50km or 30 miles) Guest access There is a private beach that makes it easy to access the ocean while going paddle boarding or canoeing. Other things to note Two Surftech Stand up paddle boards, life jackets and a canoe's for you to use free of charge.
