The space The Keep has been luxuriously appointed, featuring only the best in Tasmanian design and furnishings while capturing the unique nature of the surrounding wilderness. Our accommodation has been designed for the utmost privacy while taking in the magnificent 360 degree views to the eastern and northern coastlines, with the Bass Strait Islands visible on clear days. Perched upon a 650 metre rocky pinnacle overlooking Tasmania’s North-East The Keep has been designed for reconnection, relaxation and rejuvenation. Indulge yourself in a long hot outdoor bath or in reading, wandering and lazing the days away. On the ground floor is the main entrance, a secure garage, basic laundry facilities and a cupboard containing some outdoor gear (BBQ, chairs, hammock etc). Take the beautiful polished timber stairs to the first floor where you will find the luxurious king size bedroom, a cosy library and the spacious bathroom with a huge tub and walk-in shower. As you climb to the top floor the incredible view appears before you with a whole wall of windows. There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area with custom bar and a comfortable lounge with gas fire. You will also find the music area with a record player and selection of vinyl to browse through (you can also use bluetooth to connect your phone if you prefer to listen to your own tunes). Guest access You have the entire 250 acres to yourself. There are some amazing walks on the property so go and explore! Other things to note Access to The Keep is via some forestry roads which can be quite rough in places. We recommend a 4WD or AWD vehicle if possible.
