A bespoke shepherd's hut, made by a local craftsman residing on rolling pasture of a forgotten turf maze and meeting place lost in time. Welcome to the first Troytown shepherd's hut, completed in June 2023. Located on Dorset's famous Jurassic Coastline it is the perfect base for exploring sandy beaches, historic monuments and plentiful walks in nearby Puddletown Forest. Enjoy an off grid cabin experience with views of ancient woodland and sheep grazed pasture. The space Inside the hut you will find a spacious king size bed with all luxury bedding provided. The bathroom is plumbed in to a private water supply and fully equiped with hot water, shower, flushing toilet, sink and Egyptian cotton towels. The main living space includes a kitchen with double burner, grill, fridge, sink and cooking utensils. A pair of fitted benches and table provide a comfy seat next to the hobbit wood burner and wood is supplied for keeping cozy on those cooler nights. Power for lights and sockets comes from solar panels on the farm and the shower, hobs and grill are gas fuelled. Outside you will find a fenced private area, seating and a fire pit, perfect for admiring the view and star gazing. The hut overlooks a grass field teaming with wildlife - deer, birds, birds of prey such as buzzards and sparrow hawks and occasionally grazed by our flock of sheep. Enjoy a complimentary welcome basket including tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Guest access You will have access to the private enclosed area around the shepherds hut and 2 car parking spaces next to it.
