Situated on 10 acres, near the historic town of Yackandandah, surrounded by farmland with stunning valley views, our tiny home 'Lagom', provides a comfortable and luxurious accommodation option for a couple/family. This region offers the arts; wineries, distilleries and craft beers; and adventurous outdoor activities. It's a must for those who love to walk, run, bike, ski or simply explore or relax and unwind in a quiet country setting. The space Lagom - meaning not too little, not too much, just right - captures the essence of our tiny home. Our vision is to offer guests a private relaxing space to unwind. 'Lagom' is a stylishly designed 40-foot shipping container that has been deliberately constructed as eco-friendly as possible using reclaimed materials, non-toxic paints and with energy efficient principles in mind. It offers a king bed plus a small single bed; sitting area with window bench with magnificent valley views; electric heater; luxurious deep plunge bath with overhead shower; kitchenette with pantry, fridge and cooking facilities; indoor and outdoor dining options with deck overlooking surrounding farm land; firepit and relaxed outdoor seating. Guest access 'Lagom' is tucked behind the rear of the main home on the property enabling stunning views across farms and the valley. You are welcome to explore the entire 10 acres (minus the main house yard) where you are likely to encounter local fauna including kangaroos, wombats, possums and echidnas as well as birds including kookaburras, parrots, blue wrens, rosellas and finches. Other things to note A fully functional kitchen equipped with an induction cooktop, wok, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. We offer coffee (with plunger) and an assortment of teas and milk for you to enjoy during your stay. The firepit has a cook stand with hotplate, grill and frypan for all of your outdoor cooking needs. 'Lagom' has all you need for a comfortable stay. There is WiFi available and an assortment of books and games for your enjoyment. However, there is no television. Guests please note: The toilet is a compostable toilet. Please don't be discouraged by this. Unlike many composting toilets, ours is of a modern design which offers the usual operating comfort of a flushing toilet. Access is via a graded and well maintained dirt road for 2km prior to entering our property.
