River Rose Retreat Shepherds Hut, view and hot tub

River Rose Retreat is a cute and cosy shepherds hut, located along side the stunning river Hamble, in the quaint village of Botley. The Shepherds Hut, which is within walking distance from Botley village and train station, has it's own garden with hot tub, seating area and fire pit, surrounded by trees whilst gazing out on to the river. Although we adore dogs ourselves, unfortunately no dogs are allowed. The space The Shepherds hut is situated at the bottom of a field behind a working equestrian centre and farm, so you will have the delight of having horses as your neighbours! This luxury glamping shepherds hut consists of a double bed, bathroom, and a kitchen area with seating and a log burner. Please note we are completely 'off grid' so the property is solar powered therefore NO TV, iron or hair dryer! The hut has basic facilities including a kettle, hob and camping cool box as a fridge. Our gorgeous seating area outside has a firepit and log burning hot tub. The hot tub The hot tub generally takes around 2-3 hours to heat up from cold. Logs and kindling are kept underneath the hut and you pay for what you use (£5/ bag of logs; £5/ bag of kindling). Guest access The Shepherds Hut will be fully yours for your stay, please feel free to relax in our garden area and down on the river bank but please do not enter the horses fields. Other things to note Everything you need in a cosy and compact traditional shepherds hut with a modern twist. Do as much or as little as you like depending on your mood. A place to digitally disconnect (no wifi!) and appreciate the beautiful nature, sounds of birds and view of the river around you.
