Welcome aboard the "Slackin Shack" - our beautiful handcrafted houseboat, located right on the water in the heart of Historic Downtown Swansboro! The interior has been fully updated with modern amenities for a comfortable stay, while the outside spaces allow you to take in the breathtaking beauty of the waterway and scenery in style. The space This updated 35-foot houseboat with an open layout is a perfect floating home for those who want to enjoy the water without sacrificing comfort and convenience. The houseboat has a classic design, with a clean white exterior and large windows that let in plenty of natural light while offering picturesque views of the water. The main living area of the houseboat is an open concept saloon, with a convertible dinette that can be transformed into an extra sleeping space if needed. The living area also includes a fully stocked longitudinal galley (a kitchen for your landlubbers), complete with a mini-fridge, propane stove/oven, and plenty of counter space for meal preparation. The houseboat features two sleeping areas - one with a queen-sized futon bed and the other with a twin bed, providing plenty of space for up to four people to sleep comfortably. The head (bathroom) contains a separate stall shower with hot water, electric toilet, and all the amenities you need to feel at home. The head is smaller than what you might be used too but is efficiently designed to make best use of the space available. Step outside onto either of two decks and you'll be greeted with stunning views of the waterway and the surrounding scenery. Both decks are furnished with inviting seating that offers plenty of room for relaxation and entertainment. The upper deck is ideal for soaking up the sun, while the lower deck provides a shady retreat from the heat. Whether you're enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, taking in a picturesque sunset, or stargazing at night, the decks provide the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Other things to note In addition to its prime location on the water, our houseboat is also just a short drive away from some of the area's most popular attractions, including Hammocks Beach State Park and the vibrant beaches of Emerald Isle.
