Set above where the Wardsboro brook meets the West River in Jamaica, VT, our completely renovated A-frame blends the best of nature and modern living for a perfect getaway experience. Close to Stratton, Mt. Snow, Magic Mountain & Bromley as well as Ball Mountain Brook, Jamaica State Park, Hamilton and Pikes Falls. Put on some records and cozy up to the fire, listen to the river soaking in our wood burning hot tub or roast some marshmallows and check out the stars-this is the recharge you need. The space Our open, art filled home has been completely remodeled with our guests needs in mind. The deck is set up for grilling and outdoor dining The fire pit is perfect to sit out on cold nights and enjoy the sounds of the river. The snorkel wood burning hot tub is heavenly (completely sealed and working perfectly) it does take several hours to heat but is well worth the effort! There’s a full bed in the loft and bunk beds (no guardrails) on the first floor. The top bunk is good for older children or adults. Linens are all cotton (or linen), fully equipped kitchen ( extra kitchen supplies in downstairs pantry ) and there’s internet TVs throughout (main area, bunk bedroom and downstairs family room). The downstairs offers more separate space for games or movies, great for families with kids. Other things to note Our home is not appropriate for young children with the steep staircases inside and house set high up on the hillside. We cannot accommodate service or emotional support dogs at our aframe due to allergies of family members. Waiver and release of liability: The owners of Jamaica Mod A Frame urge all guests to use the facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to hot tub, fire pit, stairs, bunk beds, deck and grounds are done at the guests sole risk. Guests understand they are fully responsible for the use of all features and owners are not liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages or actions arising out of or in connection to the misuse of facilities , natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests using fire pit or hot tub agree to do so safely and in accordance with the house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost property. Guests hereby hold owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability.
