Sunshine Hideaway

Treat yourself to a relaxing stay and watch picturesque views of beautiful Lake Macquarie and sunrises at Sunshine. Boating, fishing, kayaking and swimming are at your doorstep. Locally we have 3 breweries and a smokehouse or fine dining at 8 at Trinity. Its a 1 hour drive up the freeway to the Hunter Valley Wine Country. Norah Head beach is a 35 min drive to watch whales migrating. Locally we have live music at various hotels on weekends and regular bands 20 mins drive to the Toronto Hotel. The space Dog friendly with level off street parking on a built up area. 3 sandstone steps from the parking area down to a slight slope and 4 metres to entry door. Entry level has 1 bedroom, sliding door to bathroom combined laundry with a separate toilet. 16 stairs to upper level consisting of lounge/dining and open plan kitchen with dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Few things in fridge and cupboard - milk, butter, sugar, tea, coffee, salt n pepper, olive oil, paper towel, alfoil and gladwrap. Large window overlooking the lake from the lounge. Side balcony has lake and garden views. Crank handle wind down sun filtering blinds. Small bench with sink and webber baby Q. Outdoor table and 2 chairs. Light over sink area for evening cooking. Guest access Key will be located in a key garage on post near entry. Code to be provided to guests when confirmed booking. Guests will have full use of parking and garden. If I need to access the small garden shed I will confirm with you first. Other things to note I have an old dog, he is probably almost deaf. He is quiet but may say hello to your dog if he realises we have a visitor in the timber fenced off yard. I have a bench near the entry door to place items on whilst opening the door. Under the bench is a few towels to use for dirty paws and feet please. Dogs welcome but please bring there own bedding. Pet scoop to collect deposits and please place in outside bin.
