Black Butterfly is a beautiful log cabin, located in the woods~a unique forest retreat, just a short walk from the Mckenzie River, great for fishing or just listening to the soothing sounds of the water. Located perfectly for relaxation or adventure, centered right in the heart of the Mckenzie River Valley. Very close to Belknap and Terwilliger hot springs, Sahalie and Koosah waterfalls, many beautiful hikes, river rafting, Tokatee Golf Course, and so much more. We would be honored to have you! The space To stay at the Black Butterfly is to saturate yourself in the tranquil environment of plush nature and to be nurtured in the soothing energy of the house itself. We would be honored to have you as our guests. Please come and enjoy a retreat in the forests of the Mckenzie Valley. The house has two beautiful patios for you to enjoy the sights and sounds around you. There is a BBQ and patio furniture for you to use and enjoy. There is a fully fenced area for your dogs to enjoy the nature as well. The house has a beautiful, fully stocked kitchen with brand new grey-stone counter tops, a new stove and a new refrigerator. There is a dining area as well as a small bar, perfect for group or family dinners. There is a small laundry room located under the stairs with a few cleaning supplies and a washer and dryer for your use. They are accessible through the small curtain through the wall for your convenience. The master bedroom downstairs has a queen size bed as well as a small fold down sofa. It has two full closets with shelves and hangers. The large master bathroom has a stand up shower as well as a jacuzzi bath tub with beautiful window views. There is plenty of counter space as well as two sinks and lots of drawers and cupboard space. The second bedroom in the upstairs loft has a queen size bed, and a desk for workspace. There is also a two person infrared sauna for you to relax and enjoy. There are brand new acacia wood floors and windows with beautiful forest views. The upstairs bathroom has a tub, a shower and one sink. There is a second, bunk-style bedroom located upstairs as well. It has six twin size beds and a ping pong table and foosball table for your enjoyment. The living room is spacious and beautiful with high vaulted ceilings and big scenic windows. The walls are adorned with art and the space is calming and inspiring. There is an electric fireplace to provide heat and ambiance, as well as two sofas that fold down into beds as needed. The house overall has a very welcoming feeling and we hope you come and experience the nature that it holds. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire outdoor area, the downstairs bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, dining area, upstairs loft bedroom with a sauna and a bathroom, as well as access to the new upstairs bunk room with ping pong table and Foosball table for your enjoyment! There is garage space that guests will not have access to. Other things to note The house has two queen bedrooms, a bunk room with six twin beds and a ping pong and foosball table for your enjoyment! There are also three fold down sofa's in the house. Two of the sofa's are smaller and may be a bit better suited for kids. There is fenced in area for dogs, but most of the yard is not fenced. It is big private, wooded yard with a private driveway.
