Description
Set in a rural location - perfect for country walks - between Shere, Peaslake and Gomshall in the Surrey Hills, is our newly appointed spacious cabin, in our 2 acre pretty garden. The Croft is a double sized cabin, offering space and tranquility. The area is also fast becoming the South East's mecca for cycling. Peaslake caters for all cyclist's needs. One well behaved dog is most welcome, though must be kept on a lead. The cabin will only sleep 2 adults, and so sorry no babies or children. The space Light and airy, The Croft is newly decorated to a high standard. There is a lounge area with a small kitchenette at one end. There is a combi-oven including a microwave, a ceramic induction hob, and a full size fridge, and pots, pans and other cooking utensils if you like to cook, and obviously all china, cutlery and glasses etc. Sky ( incl film and sport etc), Netflix, Prime and many other channels available on the apps. Linked to this is the spacious bedroom, decorated in a calm, neutral style - with a little touch of opulence! The modern shower and toilet are here too, complete with complimentary toiletries. A Continental breakfast for your first morning is included in your Welcome Pack, which also includes various teas, coffee, milks, sugars and hot chocolate. A coffee machine with unlimited coffee pods is for those that prefer a real coffee. Relaxation and your comfort were in mind in the decoration of The Croft, with a little bit of quirkiness added for fun. As a (retired) garden designer, and now an artist, I have had fun creating this space! Guest access A comfortable space set in our 2 acre garden, which you are welcome to explore, with many plants, and pond (with large Koi), small orchard and other trees of interest. The Cabin has it's own allocated outdoor space for you to enjoy, with a grassy sunken area with a fire pit, a pub style bench and even a bar (though not fully stocked!), should you wish to sit at it! Often at night you will hear owls hooting, and if you're up bright and early of a morning, or early evening, you will more than likely see one or two wild rabbits munching, hopefully on the grass and not the plants! We also have a variety of visiting birds to our garden and we have great pleasure encouraging them by providing a number of bird feeders. Blue Tits, Great Tits, Long Tailed Tits, Nuthatches, Wrens, Blackbirds, Pigeons, Goldfinches, Parakeets, Magpies and Crows are our regulars with the odd bird of prey appearing quite regularly too including Red Kites, Buzzards and Sparrow Hawks.
