We are in the beautiful Stoney Creek section of Wintergreen, very close to the Stoney Creek Golf Course, within walking distance to Stoney Creek Park, and only a little over a mile off of Route 151. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the ski slopes in Wintergreen but you're much closer to all the restaurants, breweries, wineries, and cideries that Nelson 151 has to offer. Whether you're coming for a family getaway, college reunion, girls' or guys' week, or wedding, Sip-n-Ski Serenity has all the amenities you would want and then some. You can even bring your pet! Enjoy the hot tub after a full day of activities and all the amusements in the two different game rooms - pool, ping-pong, classic arcade game, and foosball. You'll have high speed internet at your disposal as well as 4 75' smart TVs ready for your streaming services. We have a YouTube subscription so you won't miss your favorite games or local tv shows either! If nature is your jam, you can enjoy the walking trails and hikes nearby or simply enjoy the double decker wrap around front porch equipped with rocking chairs, chess tables, and picnic tables! Bed layout by room and floor: Main level: King room with luxury ensuite complete with huge soaking tub (jets have been disabled) and separate shower. and private 75" smart tv Upstairs: 2 Queen rooms that share a hall bath, plus a beautiful library/reading room with 2 comfy reading chairs that convert to twin beds with linens provided in the dresser Lower Level: Family room which includes a twin over double bunk with twin trundle included (comforter, blanket and pillow for trundle are in the closet in the lower level) Room by room description: Main level includes a bright and open living room complete with gas fireplace, 75 inch smart tv, and a wireless JBL home theater system. There's plenty of seating with a brand new sofa and loveseat as well as a small recliner chair. Just off the living room is a luxurious en-suite bedroom with it's own 75" smart tv and spacious bathroom with double sink, gargantuan jacuzzi tub, separate shower and separate water closet. Also on this level is a fully-stocked eat in kitchen with table for 4 and bar seating for 3 as well as a beautiful dining room which seats 8. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board just in case. We also store a booster seat/portable high chair in the laundry room. Go out the french doors of the living room and you will find an outdoor hot tub that seats 6 and is sanitized by a UV light for the cleanest possible experience. It also has bluetooth speakers and enhanced lighting. (You'll find hot tub towels in the cabinets in the laundry room.) There's also a fenced outdoor pet area, gas grill and massive parking area. The front of the house boasts a full length front porch complete with picnic tables, rocking chairs and chess/checker tables. Upper level includes two comfortably sized queen bedrooms which share a hall bath. Between the two rooms is a gorgeous library complete with comfy reading chairs, a huge palladian window overlooking the forested mountain behind the house, and a coffee bar. The reading chairs easily convert into two twin beds with linens provided in the dresser. The lower level is fun central! There is a large family room boasting a 75" smart tv, foosball table, 412-game classic video arcade table for two, and a full bath. There's also a mini kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink. Tucked into the corner of this room is a twin over double bunk with twin trundle. There's a closet full of new games, children's books and duplos on this level as well as a Pack-n-Play (bring your own sheets). The garage on this level has been turned into a heated and air-conditioned game room with another 75" inch smart tv, ping pong table, shuffleboard table, pool table and gorgeous feature wall. Just outside the garage is a basketball goal - the basketballs are kept in the garage. This level has its own full length front porch with more rocking chairs and game tables as well as 2 porch swings facing each other ready for your wonderful conversations with family or friends. Please note, the pool is a community pool that is only open to guest during the summer. The property does to have a private pool. Other things to note While the resort’s pools are reserved for members only, this property has access to the HOA pools at Chestnut Springs on the mountain (94 Timber Camp Dr) and Rodes Farm in the valley (Stoney Creek). These pools operate from the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day. Unaccompanied guests of property owners may use the pools from 2 pm until 6 pm daily. With a guest pass, six guests can access the pool. The limit on people using WPOA pools per property is six. In addition to the pools, there are two fresh water lakes with swimming nearby. Lake Monocan, a 20-acre lake and park operated by the resort that is located at 239 Camping Ridge Lane in Stoney Creek. There is a fee per person to enter and it is closed to the public on Saturdays. Sherando Lake Recreation Area is also nearby. Known locally as the jewel of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Families enjoy picnicking in this shaded and woody area, while relaxing on the sandy beach of a 25-acre spring-fed lake. Access to multiple trailheads and rustic architecture provide numerous points of interest for families to enjoy. $8 per vehicle up to 8 passenger capacity for day use.
