The Lazy J Getaway Ranch

If your looking to get out of the city for some peace and quiet or your in the area to visit family this ranch is a unique spot. Located just off Hwy 36, 45 minutes south of Moose Jaw. Completely Private this property has a large unique yard, sheltered by lots of trees, lots of sitting areas and rustic decor. Have a cozy, quiet stay in this older, charming ranch house. Horse boarding is available. Trail ridding or hunting is permitted on owners land with discussion. Gopher hunters are welcome! The space The whole place to yourself. Fully equipped kitchen with dinning table for 6, a large island that seats 4 and a wood burning stove. Living room with a beautiful window bench, satellite tv and wood burning stove Main floor bedroom has a double bed and an electric fireplace. Main floor bathroom has a bathtub and electric fire place Open upstairs loft has two double beds Basement has laundry, one bathroom with a shower, a room with one queen bed and family sitting area. The back patio has a bbq, dinning table, lounge patio set, a 6 person hot tub and a trampoline. There is a fire pit area, with a bar and even an outhouse! Some of the out buildings such as the barn, tack shed and garage can be available to use for storage of equipment or boarding animals upon discussion with owners. Some Firewood is available (guests would need to bring equipment such as chainsaw and axe to cut themselves) Options to host larger family gatherings or events are available. There is a large open area ideal for campers with generators Guest access Guest will have access to the whole yard. Horse boarding may be available. Access to land for trail riding or hunting may be available for guests with all the proper equipment and requirements. Gopher hunters are very welcome! Other things to note The farm is located about 1/2 mile off the highway down a gravel road. Note the time of year, road and yard may be muddy There is an open stair case and open loft. bedroom area has very low ceilings. The second living room/bedroom, bathroom and laundry are in an older basement accessed by a steeper staircase with low head room. The trampoline has no safety net Some features in the house and yard are not ideal for toddlers. Given the location and set up in the yard children must be supervised at all times. Depending on the time of year there may be animals, like cattle and horses in the pens in the yard or fields near the house. Some wildlife like gophers, foxes and deer occasionally run through the property. Be aware It is possible to see the odd moose , skunk or coyote as well. No wifi available, cell service in the area Is not great however there is a cell booster on the house
