Nestled among the pines and minutes from mountainous trails, you'll love being able to experience the natural wonders of Colorado while still being just minutes away from Trader Joe's, Costco, and multiple restaurants! You will enter the home on the lower level into a cozy seating area with an electric fireplace (I will send you your door and garage code on the day of your arrival). There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom on the lower level. Both bedrooms are equipped with queen beds and both have a sink and vanity so there is plenty of space and privacy to get ready. There is a game room downstairs with a card table, air hockey table, sectional, and TV. There is also a stationary bike, weights, and space to workout or do yoga. Up the stairs on the main level, you will find the fully appointed kitchen and the open concept dining and living room. The living room has a TV and an electric fireplace. The door in the living room and the door by the kitchen lead to the spacious deck with an out door table- perfect for happy hour as the sun sets over the mountains. There are three bedrooms upstairs. The primary bedroom has a king bed, TV, and an en suite bathroom with a tub. The second bedroom has a king bed and a TV. The other bedroom upstairs has two twin beds and a TV. Also on the main level, you will find the office with a full-sized pull out couch (has TV). You will use the door through the laundry room to access the hot tub and patio area with the grill, another outdoor table, and the fire pit. •20 minutes to Garden of the Gods •15 minutes to downtown •15 minutes to the Air Force Academy •17 minutes to Old Colorado City •20 minutes to Pikes Peak Guest access You will have private access to the entire home. I will send you your door code and garage code on the day of your arrival. Other things to note *HOT TUB: We ask all guests to follow our hot tub rules to preserve water. However, if we must drain and refill the hot tub after a guest has misused it, that guest will be charged a $180 drain and refill fee. We build in a charge of $25 per night for the hot tub. This is is already included in your nightly rate and is not an extra charge. Our water comes from the Rocky Mountains at crazy cold temperatures especially in the winter - sometimes as low as 48°. Our hot tub heats at about 2° per hour. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment the next day. If the hot tub is unusable during your stay, you will be refunded $25 per night it is unusable. For your health and safety. Our hot tub is professionally Maintained by Dr. Spa LLC. Maintenance time and date vary throughout the week so, A Maintenance technician may be servicing this location any day Monday - Friday 9-5. *YARD MAINTENANCE: to keep the yard in good condition, we have Everton Landscape and Maintenance Inc. stop by weekly. Maintenance time and date vary by the week so, they may be servicing this location any day Monday - Friday 9-5. *DOG FRIENDLY. Up to 2 dogs welcome. Please reach out if you plan on bringing pets so I can send you the pet policy. *PARKING: We have space for 2 cars in the garage and 2-3 spaces in the driveway depending on the size of your vehicles. *FIREPIT: guests are welcome to us the firepit, as long as they check local burn bans before doing so. We DO NOT supply firewood or supplies. Guests are required to clean the firepit after use. There will be a $100 cleaning fee if firepit is not cleaned after use. *The driveway is fairly steep *NO parties or events *NO smoking or vaping *We have Central AC! * Do NOT leave any trash or food outside as there can occasionally be a bear in the area. It is the Rocky Mountains after all!
