Description

Enjoy exclusive access to two private homes on a coffee farm in the mountains of Jayuya/Utuado. Casa Marsellesa and Casita Limaní are rented together, offering privacy, space, and flexibility—ideal for families, friends, or small groups traveling together. Surrounded by nature at 2,600 ft elevation, enjoy cool temperatures, scenic views, birdwatching, and peaceful trails. A unique mountain retreat on a working coffee farm. The space This listing includes two separate private homes rented together—Casa Marsellesa and Casita Limaní—located on a working coffee farm in the central mountains between Jayuya and Utuado, Puerto Rico. While the property belongs to the municipality of Utuado, Jayuya is much closer and is commonly used as the main reference point for access, services, and nearby attractions. This is not a typical Airbnb stay. From the rural mountain roads to the natural surroundings, the experience reflects a genuine local way of life—quiet, simple, and far from tourist‑oriented destinations. Guests come here to slow down, rest, and connect with nature much like the locals do. 🏡 The Homes Casa Marsellesa is a private mountain house offering panoramic views, simple and functional interiors, a fully equipped kitchen, reliable Wi‑Fi, and access to private walking trails across the coffee farm. The house is intentionally rustic and authentic, with vintage elements and family‑shared furnishings. It is designed for peace, simplicity, and genuine connection—not luxury or resort‑style amenities. Casita Limaní is a secluded cabin reached via a short 2‑minute walk along a rustic, unpaved natural trail from a designated parking area. The walk itself is an intentional part of the experience. From its private balcony, guests enjoy breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and deep tranquility. 🎒 Light luggage is strongly recommended for the walk to Limaní (such as a backpack). Larger suitcases may remain safely inside the vehicle. The trail is not suitable for guests with mobility limitations, and vehicles (including 4x4s) are not allowed on the trail. ⛺ Camping Option (Casa Marsellesa Area) Guests may choose to bring their own camping equipment or rent ours, subject to availability. Camping is optional and not required. Rental options: Camping tent: $30 per stay (3 available) Rest / sleep kit: $25 each (2 available) ✅ Important: When this two‑home listing is booked, the entire property is fully exclusive to your group, even if you choose not to use the camping option. No other guests will access the camping area or shared spaces during your stay. 🌿 What to Expect Naturally cool mountain climate year‑round (no air conditioning; evenings often in the low 70s °F) Deep quiet, minimal light pollution, and abundant nature Excellent birdwatching (over 20 species, including endemic birds) Private walking trails across the coffee farm (explored at your own risk) Reliable Wi‑Fi in both homes Occasional power outages may occur (no generator) ☕ Included in Both Homes Local coffee, one bottle of water per guest, salt, pepper, white and brown sugar, basic spices, napkins, sufficient toilet paper, shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and basic cleaning supplies. Casita Limaní also includes binoculars for birdwatching and enjoying distant views. 🚫 Important This property is intended for quiet stays, families, friends, nature lovers, and small groups. It is not suitable for parties, loud gatherings, events, or guests with mobility limitations. Guest access Guests enjoy exclusive access to both private homes—Casa Marsellesa and Casita Limaní—as well as the surrounding areas of the farm during their reservation. No other guests or groups will share the houses, outdoor spaces, walking paths, or camping/viewpoint areas, regardless of whether the camping option is used. The only exceptions may include the owners or authorized team members, who will always request permission in advance and enter only with the guest’s consent, strictly for property‑related matters. 🌿 Access to the Farm Guests are welcome to explore the coffee plantations, walking paths, and natural areas of the farm at their own risk and while assuming full personal responsibility. The land is a working coffee farm with uneven terrain, natural vegetation, and rural conditions typical of the central mountains of Puerto Rico. As you explore, you’ll be surrounded by coffee crops, native trees, abundant birdlife, the calming sounds of the coquí, and—on special nights—the magical glow of our cucubanos (fireflies). ⛺ Camping & Viewpoint Area The designated camping and viewpoint area is included as part of this exclusive booking. Guests may choose to: Bring their own camping equipment, or Rent ours (subject to availability and listed fees) ✅ Important: When booking this two‑home listing, the camping and viewpoint area is always exclusive to your group, even if you decide not to use the camping setup. ⚠️ Please Note Casita Limaní is accessed via a short, rustic walking trail and is not suitable for guests with mobility limitations Vehicles are not allowed on the walking trail All outdoor areas are explored at the guest’s own risk Please read all sections of the listing carefully to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable stay Other things to note 🌿 The experience This is an authentic rural mountain environment surrounded by nature and farm life. By staying here, you are supporting eco‑friendly practices on a working, chemical‑free coffee farm. 🏡 The farm & the houses This property includes two separate houses with different access styles: Casa Marsellesa is accessed directly by vehicle and is suitable for most guests. Casita Limaní is accessed on foot only, via a short natural walking path. Vehicles are not allowed beyond the yellow chain, and this house is not suitable for guests with mobility limitations or difficulty walking. Please consider your group’s needs carefully when booking. 📍 Access & location Located in Barrio Tetuán 3 (Utuado/Jayuya), a quiet rural mountain area surrounded by nature. The farm is closer to Jayuya than Utuado, approximately 12 minutes from the Jayuya Hot Air Balloon site. Detailed arrival instructions and maps will be shared after booking. Roads in the area are narrow, rural, and winding, typical of countryside locations, with some limited signage. Important: Cañón Blanco is not near the property (a common mapping error). 🌙 Night arrival Arriving after dark can be more challenging in a rural setting. We provide clear directions and assistance to help ensure a smooth and safe arrival. 🚗 Transportation There is no Uber, taxi, or public transportation available in the area. The designated parking areas are accessible by regular vehicles. ⛺ Camping area (optional) The property includes a designated camping area that can accommodate additional guests (up to 16 people total on the property) when reserved in advance. Camping is optional and not included in the base occupancy. Camping tents, sleep/rest kits, and additional guest fees apply as outlined in the listing. Please notify us in advance if you plan to use the camping area. 🌿 Natural surroundings Being surrounded by nature means insects, wildlife, and natural sounds are part of the experience. No refunds are issued due to wildlife, insects, rural sounds, or natural conditions. Occasional power outages may occur (no generator). While generally very quiet, sound levels may vary slightly on weekends or holidays. 🥾 Exploring the farm Walking trails, plantation areas, and outdoor spaces may be explored at your own discretion and risk. These areas are not private and may be shared with others connected to the farm. Hosts are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses. 🛑 Refund policy reminder No refunds are issued due to: Road or access conditions Wildlife or insects Power outages Rural or natural environments Typical countryside sounds If you’re unsure whether this experience is right for your group, we kindly recommend reconsidering your booking. 📄 Legal notice By booking this property, guests acknowledge and accept all risks associated with staying in a rural, natural environment and agree to release the hosts from liability for accidents, injuries, or losses.
