Enjoy a relaxing getaway in this tranquil room in a bungalow situated on the quietest part of the River Thames. Watch boats and swans go by on our large garden and mooring (river patio), where you can sit and enjoy your breakfast and afternoon tea or chai (I love cooking and you can order food from my Indian menu). Or watch the orange sun set over the horizon of the luscious green riverside walks - plenty around the house. The space You will have a spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed with a dedicated working space. There is also a cupboard available to store your belongings. Help yourself to teas and coffees in the kitchen. Guest access Entrance to the house is through the main door and the kitchen/dining area. Please take off your shoes on arrival as we have a warm white carpet. During your stay I and my wife anita will be available to offer you help before arrival and throughout your stay. We are happy to drive you to and from the airport, train station and local tourist sites at a competitive fare. Other things to note Paid parking space (£ 7 per car per day to be paid on arrival) is available in an ultra secure, monitored, electronic gated parking for the safety of our guests and their possessions. We also have a scheme of "Park n Fly" and 'Park n visit Thorpe" at the same rate. There are no parking spaces outside our premises. Drop and pick up facility available (Prices competitive with Uber) . London Heathrow airport is 15 to 20 minutes drive from our place. It is 7 minutes drive to Staines Train station (connecting to Central London in just 35 minutes). Pets are welcome for an additional price of 10 pounds per pet per night to be paid on arrival subject to them being well trained and calm. Places of interest from our location- 6 minutes drive to Little Green Boat Club. Boats can be hired for £20 -48/hour depending upon the type and size of the boat; which are safe and easy to drive (including for non-swimmers). 6 minutes drive to Lammas Recreation park which also includes a new 9-hole mini golf course, riverside cafe and tennis court. 8 minutes drive and 20 minute walk to Thorpe Park. 12 minute drive to Royal Holloway University. 4 minutes drive to TASIS The American International School,UK 20 minutes drive to Windsor Castle and Great Park. 23 minutes drive to LEGOLAND, Windsor. 8 minutes drive to Magna Carta, old Windsor 20 minutes drive to Savill Garden. 13 minutes drive to Wentworth Golf Club,Virginia Water. 14 minutes drive to Ashford Manor Golf Club, Ashford. 21 minutes drive to Racecourse, Ascot (Ladies Day At Royal Ascot, 18-22 June in 2024). 15-20 minutes drive to London Heathrow airport. 7 minutes drive to Staines Train station (connecting to Central London in just 35 minutes). 6 minutes drive to Two Rivers Shopping Centre. 10 minutes drive to Spelthorne Leisure Centre.
