Welcome! Relax and unwind at our lakefront getaway. Bring your boat, jet skis, fishing poles, and golf clubs—there’s fun for everyone here! Start your mornings with a cup of coffee on the dock as you gaze across the lake toward the peaceful Goat Island. Watch fish jump and enjoy the sights and sounds of local wildlife all around you. Spend the day swimming or cruising the lake, then cast a line off the dock under the stars. After a full day of adventure, you’ll drift off easily in our cozy beds. The space This 2 story home has received updates since the original build in 1968. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms with queen beds and a twin trundle, adjoined by a full bathroom. Each of the rooms have nightstands, darkening shades, small fans and nightlights if needed. One of the upstairs rooms has a wall mounted 43” television. The main floor master suite features a king size bed, a 55” smart TV, ceiling fan, nightstands, dressers, a spacious bathroom, and laundry room. There is also a twin air mattress located in the master suite for a 10th guest. The kitchen is full size and seats 5 people at the bar with an additional 6 seats at the dining room table. Also, it’s fully stocked with cookware, bakeware, toaster, coffee maker, and dinning essentials. The living room is comfortable with a 65 inch smart TV and a shuffle board table! The couch has a pullout queen bed with a gel mattress. Sheets and bedding for the pullout couch bed are in the basket on the fireplace. A 3rd full bathroom is located on the main level. Guest access Guests will enjoy access to the majority of the property except for a few locked “owners” closets, the locked boathouse, the boat and boat lift are off-limits. Also, this is a pet free and smoke free property. Nearby amenities include a golf course, boat & kayak rentals a Food Lion grocery store and and multiple restaurants. Also, Morrow Mountain State Park and Uwharrie National Forest are about 20-30 minutes away depending on where you’re going to each. Available for use during your stay: We provide two paddle boards and life vests for use while you are visiting, along with a few kids life jackets, floats and noodles all stored in the cabinets on the dock. The cove is perfect for swimming and floating as it is mostly calm water. The water depth at the end of the dock is approximately 5-7 feet deep and we ask, for your safety, that nobody dive into the water. It is a lake and safety is paramount to having a fun and successful visit. That said, swimming is at you and your family/friends own risk as there is no lifeguard(s) on duty. We accept nor imply any liability of any kind. Boat and kayak rentals are available nearby at Lilly’s Bridge Marina and boat launch. **Please note, the owners boat and boat lift are not available for use.** Other things to note Very important. This property has a septic system and it is important that nothing other than toilet paper is flushed. Please be sure to throw away any and all feminine products, wipes, or other products in the garbage cans - even if the product claims that they can be flushed. Thank you!
