The Parsonage Barn

Our barn was formerly the home of Parsonage Handmade Soap and has now been converted into a liveable space. The "Parsonage Barn" is on an 1850s Lovettsville property with all of the historic charm and the updates for today's lifestyle. The entire barn is for you and your guests to enjoy. Relax on the hayloft porch or cozy up to the fire pit in the side yard. Feel free to walk the property and explore the garden. The space The barn has a wonderful open floor plan with stained concrete floors on the main level and laminated wood floors on the second story. Downstairs has 2 dining areas, kitchen, a large sitting area with a gas fireplace, and a flat screen TV. The sofa is a queen sleeper that we can make up if given notice. Upstairs, you will find the full bathroom with stacked laundry, a pingpong table, and access to the balcony through the hayloft sliding door. The loft bedroom has a king-size bed, a twin bed (which can be separated with a room divider), and a pack n play. When you stay in our barn, you enjoy over 1,000 square feet of pure privacy. Perfect for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Guest access Guests have access to our children's playset. Please do not enter any gated areas. Other things to note 1 family dog wanders the property freely, please be mindful, as she loves to greet guests. Insects and pests are all part of the rural environment. However, we do everything we can to mitigate this. We are close to Harpers Ferry, WV, Leesburg, VA and Waterford, VA, and are just a 40 minute drive from Dulles. Lovettsville is a great Western Loudoun small town with lots of fun year-round activities and its famous Oktoberfest. The Lovettsville Town Center offers shopping, services, restaurants & amenities, with a brand new section featuring a Farmer's CO-OP grocery store. Our town also has a Public Library, a 1-yr old Community Center, an outdoor pool & playground complex. There is a terrific new county park with baseball and soccer fields, a dog park, and an equestrian arena & trail. We love living here and hope you enjoy your stay.
