The house is a duplex, and our location is on the second floor. The space The home is very large and cozy. As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a beautiful solid wood kitchen with all kinds of dishes, just like at home. There is no dishwasher, but we take advantage of the time and relaxation to enjoy even a simple gesture like washing the dishes by hand😁 On the right, there are two bedrooms, both with a double bed. The master bedroom has a larger double bed, while in the second room, there is a slightly smaller French double bed and a bunk bed. In total, therefore, we can accommodate up to 6 people, but in our opinion, the maximum number for comfort is 5. There are two small closets, one in the bedroom and the other in the hallway leading to the bathroom, which has a shower and fixtures, a washing machine, and a hairdryer. The corridor and bathroom, being located (against the ground), are a little damp, so we have equipped the house with a portable dehumidifier, which is available for the guest to use. What can I say? We lived there for years before moving further upstream. It's a very nice, simple mountain house, but very cozy. The house is a semi-detached house, so being on the second floor, we will have the other tenants (my family) passing by in front of the house, but this has never created any kind of problem. In fact, many guests have established a good relationship, even enjoying gifts like vegetables from our garden 😁😁 The house was renovated a few years ago, and there is currently no access to the upper floor. There is a small slope across the lawn to reach the door, but as soon as the vacation season is over, we plan to do this work to make access easier. However, at the moment it is not recommended or, in any case, should be evaluated for people with walking difficulties. We will resolve this issue this winter. Finally, to be precise in the description of the area around the house, we have a lot of lawns that belong to us, where you can let your 4-legged friends run freely. Of course, since we are in the mountains, these lawns are not fenced. As you can see from the map, the house is at an altitude of 1600 meters, about a 5-minute drive from the town of Canosio, which is a plus for those seeking maximum tranquility even during the busiest periods. The cottage is within the family hamlet where, I would dare say, peace and silence reign, interrupted only by the bells of the cows and, if you are lucky, the passage of a few deer 😁 The road to the house is a little narrow, so I always advise all guests to meet us in the village for check-in so that we can approach the house together by car the first time. but I would say that once you have traveled it the first time, like all roads, you do it calmly!!!
