Traditional Falun Red Cabin in the wild & remote Ansättfjallen area of Northern Sweden. Located just 15 minutes walk to Akersjön lake this is an all-year round paradise. Renowned for the miles of wild snow-mobile tracks and cross-country ski-ing in winter and stunning hiking territory in Spring/summer. The cabin is located within a forest-farm and the owners are sometimes staying in the nearby farmhouse but you may also have the whole place to yourself - 107 acres of forest and quiet included! The space Well equipped kitchen, including cooker & microwave, coffee machine & fridge/freezer. Dining table in kitchen area. Crockery, cutlery, pots/pans and cooking utensils. 2 double/twin rooms 2 double bunk rooms Cosy Lounge area with ample sofa seating Heated by Air-source heater - keeps it nice and toasty in winter. Large Bathroom with wc and Shower - space for clothes drying. Duvets/Pillows are provided but please bring own sheets/duvet covers/pillow cases. Outdoor seating area. This is a beautiful, wild place - there are views down to the lake and across towards the mountains. In winter it's common to see Reindeer on the land & possible to see the Northern Lights! Other things to note We know that many people in Sweden prefer to do the cleaning themselves, so we don't require you to pay a cleaning fee as part of the booking. Instead, we give you the choice to either: - pay a cleaning fee of SEK 2000 - or, if you like to do the cleaning yourself and remove all the recycling and rubbish, we provide full instructions for this, and we ask for a Cleaning Deposit of SEK 2000, which is returnable when the cabin is left as found.
