Cosy village retreat near York

Unique Grade 2 listed cosy cottage. Just a short car ride or direct bus journey into beautiful historic York and surrounding areas, with so much to do and explore. Period features just add to the character and calming feel. The space Rustic and cosy Cottage, with lots of character and charm, another recent review said that ''it soothed our souls'' which is how we also feel. Wooden beams and wooden floors, with an old style charm. A relaxing place to stay and relax whilst enjoying everything that York and surrounding areas can offer. We are regularly opening up the calendar availability a few months in advance so please check back if you would like to book further in to the year. Guest access The whole cottage is available for use, Parking is free either on the front main road A19 or in the rear courtyard, however this space will only accommodate one medium car ,it is best to reverse in and easier to drive out. Other things to note The Cottage is on the main road A19, whilst set a little bit back we aim to be transparent about everything you can expect. The Dawnay Arms pub is just across the road which is welcoming and warm. The Sidings Greek food (railway inspired theme) restaurant is just an 8 min stroll serving a variety of dishes, however York is the best destination of choice for the variety of any cuisine you wish for..... There is a dishwasher available so feel free to bring own washer tablets however washing up liquid is provided. We have the log burner also available for use but you will need to provide own kiln dried logs and kindling.
