Cornish Home with River Views

Welcome to our spacious house nestled in the picturesque and artistic village of Calstock. The breathtaking river views and relaxed feel make this home a wonderful base from which to explore much of what Cornwall has to offer, as well as being within reach of Dartmoor. Experience the timeless elegance of the Edwardian era, with its period features and tasteful decor. Enjoy our South facing garden and dining room throughout the day and then relax into the living room for cosy, fire-side evenings. The space On arrival you'll park in our designated space by the front garden. Enter the property on the ground floor to find a spacious living room with log burner and large bay window. Head through the hallway and down a few steps to find the south-facing kitchen and dining area with large windows on to the decked garden with outdoor dining area and wonderful river views. Also on the ground floor and to the side of the property you'll have access to laundry facilities in a separate utility room. Head upstairs to the mezzanine level where you will come across a large bathroom, which enjoys the far reaching views. On the first floor you'll find a bedroom with a king size bed and large bay window and a second bedroom with a double bed, which again enjoys the view down the valley. Lastly, you'll find the third bedroom on the second floor which has an ensuite WC, a king size bed and a single bed. Please note, following feedback from one of our guests, our living room now features extra seating to comfortably accommodate 7 people :-) Guest access Guests have access to all the rooms throughout the house except for one storage room. Other things to note This is our family home which is full of character and the quirks of a lived-in space. We launder all of our bedding in-house to make the most of our solar PV generated electricity. Please note that there are several stair lifts in the property that we kindly ask you to refrain from using. We hope you enjoy your stay.
