The space Welcome to Domaine de l’Issole In the heart of the Haut Var, surrounded by Provençal hills and vineyards, Domaine de l’Issole is a 4-star rated property offering 320 m² of living space, set within 6,000 m² of fully private, tree-filled grounds. The Domaine accommodates up to 26 guests and 3 babies, and welcomes only one group at a time. Throughout your stay, the house, gardens, swimming pool, terraces, spa, sauna and all facilities are reserved exclusively for you. Arranged over three levels, the house has been designed for large families and groups of friends, offering generous spaces in which to gather, as well as enough bedrooms, lounges and terraces for everyone to enjoy their privacy. The bedrooms The 8 bedrooms are suitable for a wide variety of group arrangements. The Domaine includes 3 spacious air-conditioned suites, each with its own shower room. The suite on the upper level also benefits from a private terrace and direct access to the outdoor areas surrounding the swimming pool. Four double bedrooms complete the sleeping accommodation, including one located in a separate annex near the spa and sauna, ideal for a couple seeking greater independence. Finally, a spacious air-conditioned veranda has been converted into a flexible family bedroom accommodating up to 8 guests. Bright and generously proportioned, it is particularly suitable for children, teenagers, siblings or cousins wishing to share the same space. This layout makes it possible to accommodate couples, children and several generations under one roof, without creating the impression of a simple succession of beds. The house has a total of 5 shower rooms and 4 toilets. The living spaces At the heart of the house is a large, air-conditioned living area of almost 90 m². It includes a fully equipped open-plan kitchen, a lounge seating approximately 10 guests with an 85-inch cinema-style television, a large dining table for 16 people that converts into a pool table, complemented by a second indoor table for larger groups, and a music area with a piano, drums and guitars. A second library lounge, seating approximately 8 guests and surrounded by large windows, offers a more peaceful atmosphere with views over the gardens. It is the perfect place for a board game, a few pages of a book or a quieter moment. The house also includes a laundry room, 2 large refrigerators, 2 washing machines and a tumble dryer. For families, 3 baby cots, 3 high chairs, 2 baby baths and a changing table are available. Bed linen, towels and essential amenities are provided. A Domaine revealed across several levels What surprises guests most when they arrive is the extraordinary sense of space offered by the property. Thanks to its natural terraces, the Domaine gradually reveals itself through gardens, terraces and different living areas, allowing everyone to enjoy it at their own pace. At the highest point of the property, the magnificent 15 × 7 metre swimming pool forms the heart of the Domaine. Protected by a large retractable dome, it can generally be enjoyed from March to November. Fifteen sun loungers and reclining chairs, a spacious outdoor lounge, the pool house and the gym allow guests to make the most of the pool area. Continuing beyond the pool, a more secluded and shaded terrace offers several garden lounge areas and additional sun loungers. Further down, the private terrace belonging to the upper-level suite leads to a path lined with cherry trees and other fruit trees, which continues naturally towards the pétanque court. A few steps lower, another shaded terrace nestled among the greenery provides a lovely setting for meals in a smaller group. Around the house, the main terrace, equipped with two large electric barbecues, can seat up to 30 guests around a single table. Facing the library lounge, a second terrace accommodates approximately 10 guests, while other tables located throughout the property allow groups of 5, 10 or 15 people to enjoy lunch or dinner together. Nearby, a separate annex houses the heated 5-person spa and sauna. Several outdoor lounges and hammocks are also arranged throughout the gardens. Even when the Domaine welcomes around 30 people, everyone can choose to spend time alone, gather in a smaller group or enjoy the property together as one large group. Finally, a large natural area of almost 2,000 m², overlooked by a 200-year-old olive tree, includes the children’s garden, swings and trampoline. An ideal location in the heart of the Var The Domaine enjoys peaceful surroundings without being isolated. Bakeries and the main shops are just 3 minutes away by car. Several padel courts can be reached in 4 minutes, and several tennis courts in 6 minutes. Hiking trails begin directly from the property, while many others are accessible within a few minutes. The surrounding wine estates, including Domaine de Peyrassol approximately 10 minutes away, nearby restaurants and traditional inns, Aoubré Park and Barbaroux Golf Course offer a wide variety of activities close to the property. The Mediterranean beaches can be reached in around 40 minutes, while the Gorges du Verdon are approximately 45 minutes away. Things to know before booking The rate is based on an occupancy of 18 guests. An additional charge applies beyond this number, up to a maximum of 26 overnight guests. Pets are generally accepted upon request, and a security deposit may be required. The Domaine is ideal for family holidays, stays with friends, family reunions, birthdays and intimate family celebrations. It is not, however, suitable for particularly noisy parties, and music must remain at a reasonable volume. Private on-site parking is available for approximately 10 to 15 vehicles. Above all, Domaine de l’Issole is a place to reconnect, gather around generous tables, enjoy the Provençal sunshine and create lasting memories together, without ever compromising on space or comfort. Nature and greenery will transport you to the very heart of Provence Other things to note To ensure the safety of the property during the summer period, the use of wood or charcoal barbecues is strictly prohibited due to the risk of fire. To fully enjoy outdoor meals, you have access to two Weber electric barbecues, models Q2400 and Q1400, as well as two additional electric grills. The pool is protected by a retractable dome which, when fully closed, acts as a real physical barrier and prevents children from accessing the pool without adult supervision.
