Parc du Séquoia 4*: The apiary near Colmar

Le Rucher is part of the Parc du Séquoia, it has housed bees for many years. Abandoned for a while, we gave it a new lease of life and offered 4 beautiful stars. This atypical and unique building is nestled in a park of century-old trees. The shade of redwoods and other conifers immediately gives you a sense of calm and tranquility. Located in the center of Alsace, it is the perfect place to discover the region. The space Le Rucher is composed of two bedrooms and a small kitchen. The first on the ground floor is the old apiary. It has two beds that can be combined into one depending on the desired configuration. It has its own shower area. The sink is a nod to the place since it's a converted hive. The 2nd bedroom upstairs is under a formidable exposed frame. It has a queen size bed, a shower and a sink that allowed us to recycle part of an old conifer from the park. This is a room with 180 degree views. Rooms are ready when you check in. The toilet is separate. The dining area is on the ground floor and the kitchen is hidden in a piece of furniture. A courtesy area with coffee, herbal tea and tea capsules is at your disposal Le Rucher is fully air conditioned. Le Rucher is also a very large enclosed garden, a beautiful terrace, a covered area that will delight both adults and children. The varied outdoor furniture will allow you to follow the shade or the sun. A hot tub and an outdoor shower (shared with Séquoia) complete the enchantment of the place. Guest access You will have access to the gardens, terraces, hot tub and outdoor shower The gardens are equipped with tables and chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue. Parking in the park or along the park Other things to note You will be in the middle of the most beautiful villages of Alsace and 10 minutes from Colmar !!! Please note that the access road is new and does not appear on all navigation systems yet !!!
