Holiday home in a large enclosed garden

This air-conditioned family house has a unique location and an exceptional environment. Built on an old vine located on one of the two Causses of Bédarieux, it is surrounded by dry stone walls, which makes it an ideal environment for children who can play in the magnificent garden. From the main terrace, like those of the two upper rooms, the view over the valley of Bédarieux is magnificent. Calm and peaceful, it is an ideal place for rest. The space The house is old, and we are gradually modernizing it. But you will live well there, like in a family home, certainly marked by time, but in which generations of children have played for long hours. The main terrace will welcome you at all meals, and what a pleasure to have an "aperitif" when the sun goes down and the animals walk quietly before your eyes. As for the terraces of the bedrooms, they will stretch out their arms to you for long, quiet siestas. T Guest access You have access to the whole house except the garage-workshop and the two small rooms reserved for storage and technical equipment. Other things to note Road access is possible for all cars (and even small vans) by remaining careful on the last meters, given the small width available between the two dry stone walls (retract your mirrors). Once through the gate, the garden is huge (3 300 m2- 3947 ac) and you can park your vehicles there very easily. The house is not yet easily accessible to people with mobility reduced, but we are working on it. Finally, we draw your attention to the caution to be exercised in matters of fire. We are in Languedoc-Roussillon and in summer the local vegetation is very dry. For this reason there is no barbecue, but we provide an electric grill. You can smoke on the terraces, but watch out for cigarette butts. In short, we recommend that you be very careful with fire, as in all Mediterranean countries! That said, enjoy the garden and the house. And then you are 15 min. of Lamalou-les-Bains, with its thermal waters and its casino.
