Newly remodeled home on Saratoga Lake. We are dog friendly! Sleeps 4 comfortably but can accommodate up to 6! Primary Suite has a king bed & queen sleeper sofa. Guest room has a queen bed. Lake access to private lakefront property & dock (DOCK CLOSES MID OCTOBER! Kayaks available until dock closes. You can dock a boat & use our slip (upon request). Fishing poles/gear are in garage. Wake up to the view of the lake from 2nd floor suite! Gorgeous sunsets! Deck w/ bbq grill, yard games and fire pit! The Lakecrest Cottage is a 1,824 sq. ft home with an open floor plan. Relax with family and friends in the great room with a wonderful view of the lake. You can also get cozy by the gas fireplace! There is a sliding door to access the deck from the great room. The primary suite is a loft style bedroom, therefore it does not have a door. There are a standard set of stairs to get the bedroom. The king sized bed and private bathroom are back a good distance from the overlook of the railing system. Enjoy the seating area equipped with a large Smart TV. The queen sofa bed can accommodate 2 additional people! The first floor bedroom has a queen sized bed and a Smart TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The coffee station cabinet is to the right of the sink and has everything you need to make a great cup of morning coffee!. Use the pour over coffee maker, French press or brew yourself an espresso using our Nespresso machine! We are 10 minutes from the Saratoga Race Track, 15 minutes from SPAC, and 12 minutes from the Saratoga Spa State Park. Downtown Saratoga is only 14 minutes away (Broadway is known for being extremely dog friendly) for a fun day of shopping, dining outdoors or taking a stroll through Congress Park! After a long day, enjoy reading a book in our cozy Reading Nook under the staircase. Stay in and play a board game with friends and family! The games are stored in the drawers in the reading Nook!! The entire house except the basement is available for access. You may enter the garage (storage area) to access the yard games. Please be sure to put all games & other items back in the garage for storage. To get to the DOCK, you need to walk down a fairly steep roadway to cross Route 9P (busy road). The entrance to the dock is across the street (you will see staircase). You will need to CLIMB over the guardrail to access stairs to dock. Feel free to stroll down the dock and dip your toes in the water, take a swim or take out the kayaks. The lake is accessible via short set of stairs attached to the dock (as of 6/1/23). Life Vests are provided in bin and are REQUIRED while kayaking on Saratoga Lake. There are no lifeguards on duty, but guests are welcome to swim at their own risk. DIVING is PROHIBITED (shallow/rocky). You'll notice a pontoon boat attached to the dock. While it may look enticing, the boat is off limits. This is our personal watercraft and you may see us heading out for a joy ride. Pontoon boat rentals are available in our area! Please check the Welcome Book for more information! Be sure to call early and make reservations!!! Fishing poles and gear can be found in the garage for your use. I will be available through Airbnb message/email. You can also call/text me as well at the phone number provided from Airbnb! Our home is located on a private road and is typically quiet. Everyone is very friendly here. Please be respectful and keep the noise to a minimum in the later evening hours. Please look for the FIRE LANE 2 (Red street sign) due to the fact that the actual street sign is not visible! The Race Track and Downtown Saratoga are approximately 10-15 minutes away. Most of the local restaurants, Brown's Beach, etc. are also a little too far too walk too. You will need a car or you can always call an Uber or Lyft. No Smoking in the house. Please dispose any cigarette butts in the outdoor garbage can in the driveway or in the small ashtray on the deck. Please do not litter or dispose of any cigarettes at the lake. Do not allow your pet on furniture. Also, if you leave and your dog is left unattended, please CRATE your dog so they don’t get into any trouble. All dogs should be leashed while on our street. Please cover sofa with dog blankets that are in a basket in the Great Room. Always wipe paws off before bringing do in from the outside please. If you could kindly remove your shoes during your stay. Finally, we recommend bringing aquatic footwear of some kind to protect your feet while entering the water. The lakebed is sandy with a lot of larger stones.
