Large duplex in the hyper-center

Chic and old-world charm: this 62 m2 duplex in the hyper-center of Angers is located close to all the places to visit in this city, in its living heart - shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas, theaters, music venues - while also being very close to its large green spaces. The apartment, renovated in 2022, is located in a small quiet family condominium, in a 17th century building. The accommodation, very bright, mixes antique furniture and contemporary furniture. The space Atypical space comprising: large living room (38 m2), equipped kitchen, attic bedroom (relatively quiet overlooking courtyard), bathroom in the bedroom, separate toilet. Very high ceiling apartment, well-equipped. NB: the apartment is in the city center without being on a noisy street at night, as there are many in the city center. There may be noise in the square at night, rarely, however, if you sleep with the window open. No problem otherwise, because the double glazing is effective. NB: free parking in the quiet streets behind the Jardin des Plantes, 3–4 minutes' walk from the apartment. Guest access The apartment, otherwise totally independent, is in an independent wing of our own apartment. Before entering your accommodation, you go through a central staircase that we share with you (the staircase is separated from our own accommodation by doors). Other things to note This place isn't suitable for young children, under 5 or 6 years old: unprotected windows, no barrier in the staircase, staircase that can be dangerous for a child. NB: No door between the bedroom and the living room although the two spaces are almost separated by the slope of the roof and the height of the staircase. (see photo) Narrow bedroom entrance: over 1.70 m, you have to duck a little to enter! (see photo) HOUSEKEEPING: - You can choose to do the cleaning (according to standard tourist accommodation standards) i.e. by spending the necessary time to make sure everything is perfect when you leave the premises; OR - You can choose the cleaning package for 50 euros. We ask our tenants to leave the apartment in a good condition (dishes done in particular). The cleaning fee is mandatory for stays of more than 2 days, unless you are staying alone in the apartment.
