Hollyhock Cottage in the Cotswolds

Relax in this tranquil and beautifully furnished cottage overlooking farmers fields. It is a short walk to the village pub (The Falcon)and only 10 minutes from Cirencester and the Cotswold Water Parks. The annual RIAT ( Royal International Air Tattoo) airshow in Fairford is just 3 miles away. The charming villages or Bibury and Burford are only a 15/20 minutes drive away and there are plenty of Cotswolds walks from your doorstep. The space Hollyhock Cottage is a beautifully designed house in a little village called Poulton just 10 minutes drive from Cirencester. When you enter the house you are greeted with a light and spacious hallway with a coat stand to hang your belongings on. There is a downstairs wc just off the hall. Through the door you will find a well fitted kitchen with a cooker, hob, inbuilt fridge/ freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen cupboard under the stairs houses everything you could possible need to make and bake your way through your stay at Hollyhock cottage. There is an extendable dining table with 4 chairs in the dining room and a little further in the lounge a comfortable sofa to watch your favourite programs or films on Netflix, Amazon prime etc. Please feel free to borrow the books available to you during your stay and replace them before you leave so other guests are able to enjoy them too. The dining room has double doors out into the garden where you will find a spacious patio with a comfortable table and chairs for relaxing in the garden on warmer days or to stargaze from on clear nights. There is also a washing line available in the garden if required. Hollyhock cottage has 2 double bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed with en-suite and walk in shower. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. The second bedroom has its own family bathroom with a large bath and over head shower, wc and sink. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes and space to hang clothes. An ironing board and iron are kept in the en-suites cupboard. The main room is light and bright with stunning views out of the window onto the field behind where pheasants, grouse, swifts, swallows and sometimes sheep can be seen. The cottage has WiFi. There is parking for 2 cars directly outside the cottage. 1 well behaved dog is welcome. Pets to remain downstairs and do not let them sit on the sofa or sleep on the beds. Please ensure you clear up after your pet in the garden too. Thank you Guest access Guests are welcome to use the whole house and garden using their stay. Self check-in allows guests to arrive and depart at their leisure. A key box is provided and the key code will be sent to guests 24 hours before arrival.
