Two bedroom Victorian in Berkeley
Spend two weeks in our condo, the upstairs apartment of a Victorian house, in downtown Berkeley while we are away. Walk to campus, restaurants, theaters and BART. Spend a week in a Victorian duplex in downtown Berkeley. We stay here when we are in town. This is our second home but you can stay here when we are away. Location: Downtown Berkeley, so you don't even need a car! In five minutes or less you can walk to: The Berkeley public library, YMCA, Theater district, UC Berkeley, Traders Joe, City parks with children’s playground, Saturday Farmer’s market, Post office, City offices, Movie theater, Gourmet ghetto and loads of other restaurants, BART (Get to San Francisco in 30 minutes). Bike to the bay, Fourth Street district, the marina. Our condo is located on Hearst Avenue. Therefore you do hear some traffic noise at busy times. This is a UC Berkeley student neighborhood so the houses beside us may have weekend parties. The neighbor downstairs however is very quiet and not a student. Description: Victorian duplex house - upstairs floor (you will need to climb one set of stairs) Includes: Living room which faces south with 3 large windows, Dining room with bay windows, One bedroom with king bed and one study/bedroom One full bath and one half bath. Flat screen TV. internet Washer and dryer in room off back porch. Kitchen with antique Wedgewood stove in good order – a cooks dream! Fully furnished with all linens, towels, kitchen dishes, cutlery, basic cooking staples 10 foot ceilings – cool in summer. Sit on the front porch and enjoy the sun: morning and afternoon. Parking space in back – very important in Berkeley. Sleeps 3 comfortably Perfect for a couple and one other person. Not recommended for small children No pets, No smoking No drugs Minimum rental time: two weeks Walk to BART, buses
