Location: Downtown Berkeley, so you don't even need a car! In five minutes or less you can walk to: The Berkeley public library, YMCA, Theater district, UC Berkeley, Traders Joe, City parks with children’s playground, Saturday Farmer’s market, Post office, City offices, Movie theater, Gourmet ghetto and loads of other restaurants, BART (Get to San Francisco in 30 minutes). Bike to the bay, Fourth Street district, the marina. Our condo is located on Hearst Avenue. Therefore you do hear some traffic noise at busy times. This is a UC Berkeley student neighborhood so the houses beside us may have weekend parties. The neighbor downstairs however is very quiet and not a student.
