Private Island on the scenic Allegheny River 5 min from historic Tidioute, PA. The Treehouse can accommodate 4 adults at a time. There is a pully system to easily bring items with you to relax up in the air! Perfect for Family trips, Friend groups, paddle clubs, Scouts, fishing and everyone in between. Kayak rentals are available upon request. Canvas Tent rentals available upon request The space This is a cabin on an island with zero land access. Anything that can happen and most likely will! This is camping. If it rains, the island still shines! Many times, the rain passes right over. It's kind of magical to watch! The island is 46 acres. It is a very unique property and does not have an address. You can search “Fuellhart Island '' Pennsylvania. Tidioute Borough and Deerfield township are also key words! PACK LIGHT. PACK LIKE YOU'RE BACKPACKING! Everything that crosses over the river to the island must go back. You're responsible for bringing your personal items, camping and kayaking gear across the river and to your tent site. You may take as many trips as you need to! Packing light is key. This is camping, bring yourself, clothes, toiletries - everything will get dirty and most likely wet. Bring extra shoes for your drive home. The main area boat landing area can be muddy in Spring and after rain. This depends on water level. It is a good idea to wear water shoes when crossing over river! The Paddle over river is a fun and easy ferry! Note that the river level changes and the island will close if water levels reach high/dangerous levels for guests to safely travel. This will be notified previous to guests arrival. If you're bringing a cooler please dump ice before trying to carry it over river. There is an ice machine at the communal porch area and a refrigerator. The steps down to the dock make it awkward to carry items like large coolers. Be safe walking down the steps to the dock with your items. Check - In time will be no earlier than 3 pm unless otherwise stated. Your campsite is included along with all: Communal kitchen fully equipped with 2 fridges, plates, utensils, cups, napkins, coffee maker, Toaster, ice machine - ONLY cooking gear you need to bring are your water bottles and light, portable items you'd like to use at your campsite. Testing out your gear is fun! Cooking outside on the fire is amazing! There is an indoor dining and living area with two couches Covered wrap around porch features a porch swing and seating benches Large log benches around the communal fire pit for outdoor seating Running water indoors and outdoor shower Communal indoor bathroom with flush toilet - septic system. Bonfires at the main cabin (you are permitted to build your own fire with a fire ring provided). If you are renting the cabin and island privately, everything above is yours to use and not shared. If you are renting a campsite or joining an event weekend you can expect the communal areas to be available from 8am to 8pm unless otherwise posted. Firewood is available for purchase onsite. We cannot bring firewood over river from the dock. Guest access Cabin plus amenities, outdoor shower, trails, treehouse, private dock and private island launches. 2nd bedroom has its own private entrance off dock. Other things to note only accessible by water you will need to use the canoe to cross or your own boat! (kayak, canoe etc.)
