Relaxing 2-Bedroom Mountain Condo - Waterfall View

Tucked away in the Appalachian Mountains, Bearfoot Retreat has every creature comfort you could want to make your stay feel like home away from home. Featuring a wood burning fireplace, lake and rockslide view, with an outdoor bar overlooking the woods - this is the retreat you've been looking for, with all the modern amenities; a coffee bar, 70 in smart tv, Smart Home and more. The space The property is a two bedroom two bath condo on the second floor of the building. There are roughly a dozen stairs to descend to get to the unit, stairs are not consecutive they have a landing every 6 stairs. It features a full kitchen stocked with appliances (rice maker, blender, slow cooker, toaster, microwave, dish washer, refrigerator, electric wine bottle opener). The dining area features a fully stocked coffee bar with grounds, K-cups, tea bags and more. Please help yourself to your favorite brew! The dining table seats four, with more seating available on the patio, or there are tray tables for eating in the living room. Both bedrooms have queen beds with down comforters and multiple pillows, both firm and soft for you to choose from. Each bedroom features a 50 inch smart TV with Netflix, Disney+, ESPN, and Hulu. Each bedroom has a private full bathroom, each newly renovated, with brand new everything. Bathrooms come fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, qtips, cotton balls, makeup remover, skin care samples, and more! Also, you'll enjoy fresh bath robes for each guest upon entering your bedroom. The living room features a 70 inch smart TV with Netflix, Chromecast, and Airplay - so even if we don't have the movie you want to watch, you'll be able to stream it. The living area has all leather furniture; two couches and a recliner. You'll find the stone-face wood burning fireplace in the living room (fire wood not provided but can be purchased at the IGA outside the gates). The patio has a one-of-a-kind bar top, so you and your family can enjoy your lunch overlooking the woods, slide, and lake, or for a romantic dusk wine tasting. (cover photo is not respective of actual view from the home, it is within walking distance, part of Lake and waterfall are viewable from balcony) Guest access Guests may park in the spot marked '419' or the spot marked 'G' for guest. If you have multiple cars, you may take both spots. If the 'G' spot is already taken there are a few more guest spots marked in the loop. Property CANNOT accommodate RVs. To access the lake and waterfall slide you will exit the condo area (the way you entered) and take a left, then your first left will take you to the parking area at the foot of the waterfall. From there you can walk up the hill/stairs to use the waterslide or head across to the beach and pool. Pamphlets outlining the available amenities will be left within the home - if you have questions about specific activities please let us know! Other things to note Access to the home: Upon booking, you will receive the code to gain access to the home. Please note: the Wellness Center will be closed from March 3 to March 22, 2025 for renovation.
