Walk to shopping or any of the restaurants that are just “steps” away. Enjoy a day at the beach with the amenities provided or take the bikes and check out the island. The space STEPS AWAY GET AWAY 1 has a Saltwater, an OCEAN VIEW, Elevator and Fido Friendly!. This Oak Island vacation home is available during the shoulder season from Mid -August through Mid-May (Sleeps 8) and offers an ocean view deck, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, family room, kitchen, laundry room, elevator, outdoor shower with hot and cold water, Saltwater POOL and will welcome 2 friendly dogs. There is a sunroom off the master and an enclosed porch off the kitchen. There is additional dining tables on the deck, in the enclosed sunroom, and on the ground floor. There is a gas grill and the propane is provided. There is a Foosball table on the enclosed porch and there are games, puzzles and books for all ages for use by our guests. The beds are made with luxury linens when guests arrive. Our property is clean and well maintained. The owners make every effort to ensure guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay! The owner will allow up to 2 dogs. Guests with dog(s) will be charged a $125 dog fee at time of booking. There is an additional dog fee of $99 for each additional dog. The initial $125 should be charged at the time of booking. If the fee is not charged at the time of booking, the host will inform guests of the payment process for the initial dog fee and the additional dog fee, if it applies. Guests who choose to bring dogs without registering them or bring more than 2 dogs may be escorted off the property and no refund will be given. 1. Please leash your dog at all times when outside of the home. 2. Pick-up all dog waste. 3. Protect the furniture and bedding with protective covers provided. 4. Please be courteous to our neighbors and do not allow your dog to bark excessively while outside. 5. Do not leave your dog(s) unattended on the deck/porch. 6. Please do not leave your dog inside the house unattended. Please crate your dog(s) when it will be left alone. Even the most well adjusted and well behaved dog can become anxious in an unfamiliar place. 7. Dogs must be housebroken. Guest access This is a private home, and guests will be the only occupants using the property during their reservation Other things to note This property is located in the middle of Oak Island. It is across from Middleton Park which offers a playground, splash pad (May-September), recreational softball field open to the public, grassy field, measured walking path, and skateboard park. The park host the summer concert series and many activities and festivals throughout the year. *Paid Beach parking is in effect from April thru October. Paid parking does not effect our guests since the beach is located directly across the street from the property.
