Idyllic rural setting in Forster backing on to Booti NP, just 10 minutes from town. Nature lovers, birdwatchers, photographers and romantics will be enchanted by the views and their surroundings. Situated on our 3.5 acre property at Cape Hawke, you can wander the gardens, wetland and rainforest creek or sit by the little lake and soak up the views. You can access the bush trail to Seven Mile from the cottage gate, an easy 25 minute walk. The space Cute one bedroom air conditioned standalone cosy cottage has its own fully fenced private lawn and courtyard with organic vegetable and herb garden for guest use. The cottage is adjacent to the host’s house with guaranteed privacy while knowing the host is at hand should you need anything. Your cottage features full kitchen, dining area, separate bedroom with ensuite (incl laundry) and own door to verandah offering magnificent views. There is a private screened courtyard at the front entrance, with outdoor eating area and bbq. This flows to the wrap around verandah that leads to the backyard lawn area and seasonal vegetable garden available to guests, along with freshly laid eggs. The firepit area is a great spot to sit and view the mountains and valley. The back fence follows Booti National Park, to the east you can view neighbouring green pastures stretching to The Saddle while the northern aspect boasts the majestic Cape Hawke peak. Its easy to while away the time looking out. Guest access Guests can enjoy their own private yard, fenced off from the remainder of the property, while having access to the rest of the acreage. Guests can wander the extensive gardens planted with over 50 food trees, bush tucker plants and bird attracting native flora. Sit on the dam wall at sunset, light a campfire in your dedicated space or in the bottom paddock, or simply relax and watch birds. You will find a large variety of water birds, rainforest and shrub birds, birds of prey and migratory flocks. After rain you are sure to see frogs, you will hear them. The first few weeks of spring twilight and the forest becomes enchanted with fireflies. Or are they really fairies? While you are a world away, you are only minutes from Burgess and One Mile Beach, Wallis Lake and Stockland shopping centre. Or you can venture down to Pacific Palms and Boomerang Beach , a short 15 minute drive. Other things to note We have wandering chickens and a friendly border collie who is free to roam. They will not have access to your space though you are welcome to befriend them.
